Inter wants 50m euros + Martial on loan for Perisic
Dude, you are trying too hard. Yes, we are the most profitable team (https://www.forbes.com/soccer-valuations/list/#tab:overall) and Spurs are the 10th most profitable club. You are deluded if you seriously think that Spurs are financially stronger than Man Utd.
Might be something to that, you know? Milan are stealing all the thunder.Inter is sounding like the trying to play hard to get but in actuality person who is desperate for attention.
His job here is done. This from the article he quoted as source :-
Tottenham Hotspur
Accounts for the year to June 30, 2016
Turnover £210m (6th highest in the league)
Wages £100m (6th highest, 48% of turnover)
Profit before tax £38m (up from £12m in 2015)
Manchester United
Accounts for the year to June 30 2016
Turnover £515m (1st, the highest in the league)
Wages £232m (Highest in the league, 45% of turnover)
Profit before tax £49m (follows £4m loss in 2015)
Why are you jumping on Inter? They want to keep their players or get as much as possible for them. Fair play. It's a bit arrogant to get insulted over how much they want from us.

I mean, I'm just happy for once, it's not us being used as leverage.Messi just got a pay rise, so it's obvious tbh.

Anyone that says otherwise is either deluded, jealous or bitter.City doing great business.
Or they've seen them spunk endless money over the last 3 years and won next to nothing...Anyone that says otherwise is either deluded, jealous or bitter.

They don't care and its their problem not ours. If they win the title no would care how much they spent in the past. As long as it is not illegal, the game is the game. Fergie did not care how much they spent, he simply reacted and got RVP and bagged the title nicely. Let them spend £1bn, I don't care as long as we do our bit and top them.Or they've seen them spunk endless money over the last 3 years and won next to nothing...
Not necessarily.Anyone that says otherwise is either deluded, jealous or bitter.
I agree but saying there not doing great business isn't 'bitter' as they've bought loads of talent in the last few years and it's gone sour. Same for us.They don't care and its their problem not ours. If they win the title no would care how much they spent in the past. As long as it is not illegal, the game is the game. No matter how big and economically strong our club is, we can not compete with that unlimited expenditure that the city have. They have the budget of a wealthy country to support them. That's around 430 million euros spend by Guardiola in little over a year.

After Martial's preseason form thus far and especially against Real, Inter can keep their Perisic. The only player they could have is Smalling. We already have quite a few wingers in the squad with Lingard, Rashford, Mata and Mhiki (who can also play on the wing) and Martial.
If we really need to have one more, Lucas Moura could offer a lot of depth. Good player who needs more direction in being a much better player.
I think our best formation would be the one we played against City in the first half. 4-2-3-1. Yes, I'm a huge fan of the 4-3-3 but Mhiki in the No. 10 just stretches any opposition. We would score a lot of goals with Lukaku up top and Martial/ Lingard on the left and Rashford on the right.
Matic and Pogba or a Pogba and Herrera could easily hold down the fort with Lindelof and Bailly in defence.

If Citeh add another centre back and central midfielder to their ranks - the squad will look frighteningly strong.

Yeah sure Inter, would you like pogba and ddg too![]()
The second they said they wanted Martial we should have ended interest, and hopefully we did.
See that's the point... we dont't want to move on
I agree with the below posters...
... we need to publicly end interest and move on. Inter obviously want to keep the player beyond the point of accepting a reasonable bid for him.
They know there's 0 chance of us paying 50m + Martial for Perisic. They are not even trying to get an actual deal out of this. They are seeing our persistence for Perisic as interference that is unsettling their player and are responding in kind by involving Martial in the rumours.
Perisic has not slapped a transfer request or made any fuss. Unless that changes, we need to just back off and move to the next one.
Unlike the other guys who are all football guys?I think it a big part of it comes down to no one respecting Woody. He's not a football guy and other owners/football suits look down on him. They really should hire someone with a football background who is aggressive but measured for the transfer dealings of the club.
Pep will finally have a chance to prove his genius.
City clearly failed him in the transfer window, he needed Messi, Neymar and a genetically created younger version of Xavi to demonstrate his unrivaled football genius. Since City have failed him in the window, he cannot be expected to achieve more than a CL place.
Yeah. I agree. Do you think City again failed him or he needs a couple of more players to prove what everybody else knows, that he's the best there is.City clearly failed him in the transfer window, he needed Messi, Neymar and a genetically created younger version of Xavi to demonstrate his unrivaled football genius. Since City have failed him in the window, he cannot be expected to achieve more than a CL place.
