They do have fans of course, but it is probably the club most people who follow Norwegian football, dislike.
Probably cause of their fans.

They are from the capital, so they are obviously the best team.
As he said in the previous post, they are very good at trash talking, fighting, and so on.

They are not as bad these days, but mainly cause the team has been pretty poor recently.

I never liked them, but i don't really know why, just always been like that.
The rest of e teams in Norway i don't mind, even Rosenborg and Molde (probably cause of Solskjær).

Any news regarding Shaw? Hopefully to see Mitchell get a run out in that LB/LWB position if Shaw is not yet fit. I am hoping to see a more attacking outlet from that left side.

I honestly don't think they are that hated, but then again I live in Oslo so I might not see it all. They have a good vocal support group, who tend to make fun of the fact that other teams are rural as opposed to being from the capital. All in fun IMO. The team itself has been a shambles for a while, but it looks better under new management now.

I've been to see United twice in Norway against my Norwegian team Vålerenga (2012 and 1998). 0-0 and 2-2. In the nineties, the biggest part of the experience was seeing Keane back after his long injury, Solskjær with a goal and assist in his own Country, and just seeing Paul Scholes scoring. A 17 year old John Carew played and scored for a VIF that was superior on the day(!). Later, however, United went on to win the treble!

In 2012, the greatest moment was seeing Scholesy having a warm up session pinging 50-yard passes inch perfectly time and time again. Both teams were underwelming, but United endes this year as well on a high note. Seems it's a good omen playing Vålerenga in preseason!

They've all been on ESPN, with the exception of this one. So I'd say, not worth it!
