2017 Pre Season | Vålerenga vs Manchester United

7' - It's been interesting so far to see how often Mourinho's men are looking to get the ball wide as early as possible. On more than one occasion, Daley Blind has received the ball and quickly looked for the runs of Rashford.

Welcome to Long Balls' United.
Or he wants us to utilise width to stretch the opposition and exploit the spaces

Has Mata had a transplant? I seem to remember he had a moon last season, looks filled in now.

Mkhitaryan is having a mare so far.

I've seen enough so far to say that we will struggle from wide positions, to score or assist if we play Mata and Mkhi out there.

It needs addressing.

Other than Valencia our full backs are shit too. The lack of width definitely needs addressing.

We are like a halfway house between an English team and an Iberian team: everyone comes short. Besides the full backs rarely does anyone run ahead of the ball to give a forward option to the player in possession. We play like a 5 a side team on an 11 a side pitch.

We desperately need a proper wide player, absolutely zilch options from wide.

Mkhi strikes me as a player that will perform in 1/5 games. At his age, he should be at his most consistent. I'm worried about relying on him as a creative and goalscoring outlet going into the season.

He does this too often. He really needs to be more consistent this season and we desperately need some more goals and assists from him.

Yeah it's becoming frustrating. The talent is clearly there.

Pogba is fecking brilliant

Pogba is so effing good, what a season he will have if he can stay fit.

Just renewed my MUTV-app subscription, €3.09/month is a steal in my book. I spend more on dental floss a month.

Greast Mhiki down.:(
Expensive floss! You could use some old cotton socks for floss and save cash.
