True. I mean, we'll never see a tiki-taka, one-touch type of football under Mourinho, unfortunately.Pretty clear that creativity is still an issue for the team. Great cross by Mkhi despite him being terrible pretty much the whole half. Pogba was easily our best player. Rashford didn't offer much as a target, either along the ground or in the air. His movement has been poor. Good practice game. We'll see loads of games like this throughout the season.
We scored two goals in that match. Crossing wasn't the problem. It was the defence.Somewhere, a certain David Moyes is tearing his hair out. Mumbling "82..82...82"
completely agree with this. Even when we play with our first choice full backs, valencia and shaw , we rarely encourage them to overlap early. they mostly do so when the defense of the opposition is already sitting back. Theres no point in having attacking pacey full backs if we arent going to use their strengths. very frustrating to watch.We will keep finding it difficult to break up defensive teams as long as we stay without any attacking options from our fullbacks.
And people will tell you we don't need Perisic! It's like they don't see our 'wide' players allergies to actually getting chalk on their boots and making runs ahead of the ball. How did we go from Giggs and Kanchelskis to this..?
It's worrying that this is still happening.Playing with no 10s on the wing and using defensive full backs is never, ever going to result in anything good.
@SwansonsTache you too mate
Don't need Big Felli when we have Big Romi.
They showed the replayThe feck is this scuffed camera work? Didn't even show the goal!
