We aren't desperate for English though, the current squad can still fit 2 more foreign players in before we need to overspill into HG only, but if we've got an idea of trying to fill those in the near future then signing Ben Gibson makes perfect sense. A CB who can fill in at LB is exactly what we need.

I think it's overblown how much they like Benzema. People talk like he's the most preferred of the BBC and the last out of those 3 who'd be sold/dropped which is ridiculous. They like Benzema because his playmaking abilities get the best out of Ronaldo, if there's no Ronaldo then they'd need a striker who scores more goals than Benz to make up for Ronaldo's goals so there's no way Ronaldo goes before Benzema.
Of the 3 i'd still say he's the most likely to go but of course Ronaldo is the main man and still needs his supporting cast

The problem we have right now with the transfer forum is that Di Marzio is lauded as some kind of transfer god whilst the likes of Jackson and Custis are 'gutter press'. Now, I hate Custis and don't rate Jackson but the both of them have been bang on the money when it comes to Utd this summer. Di Marzio is great for Serie A etc.
