This is either complete BS or Bayern´s not so subtle way to inform the big boys that Jerome Boateng is available. If I was Liverpool I´d be all over this. They need leadership and he´s still one of the best long ball passers. Although the nagging injury risks must be very legit, if Bayern put him out there.

Well there have been some rumours that him and Rummenigge don´t like each other. Ancelotti might not rate him either, mainly cause he was injured all the time. You can tell Bayern miss his long ball distribution in the build-up with Alonso and Lahm gone as well. On paper with Hummels, Sule and Martinez they could afford to let him go. Worst case he ends up back at City with Pep. They can afford to gamble on his health and if he stays healthy he´s a massive upgrade for them.
At least they work for their money. Sky are too lazy to even invent new transfer rumours. They just beat a dead horse into submission.

Wasn't Boateng sort of considered, by most, to be one of top 3 CB's in the world, just a year or 2 ago? (that year Messi made him fall into a pothole).
I thought he'd only move if both clubs reach an amicable agreement.Don't blame Liverpool since he waited until the season started to want to leave.
