that's not bad but there was of course one moment where he delivered. Fellaini's WORLD CLASS chest control, actually made a point of it. Phil Neville was right all this time, yet we mocked him
I mean.I could but im not the ex manager of Man Utd

He's correctly pointed out that we're still short of a match-winner, because Pogba hasn't delivered enough. What's Davey up to then?

Agenda posters has always been a big part of the Caf.
Berbatov vs. Tevez
Nani vs. Valencia
Rooney vs. Ronaldo

Poor Moyes, always gets crap teams![]()
His remit at Real Sociedad was not just to keep them up. That was in the first season. They expected qualification for Europe next season which he didn't deliver. And considering how they have performed since, they were right to sack him.
I like how he glosses over it.
Can't believe he thinks he did a good job there.
"Look at Manchester United. It's taken them a few hundred million to get them in a good order. At Real Sociedad, we kept them up, we did the job we had to do there. The only one that looks a little bit out of sync is Sunderland. And it was probably the hardest to take. I think my record of losing two games in a row was minimal."
So deluded.![]()
You are right.I meant agenda in post match and players performance threads such as Lingard, Rooney and Fellaini. Sometimes it's as if they want them to have a bad game so they can rinse them into the ground with their negative comments, it's already beginning with Lindelof too.
Having someone who would fail spectacularly taking over SAF's team would make his legacy even greater. Not saying that were Fergie's intentions, but it kind of had that effect. What was the reason for that beside having made good experiences with another Scot?
because there was nobody left to askI think that Fergie knew when to jump ship and leave on a high which could have not been reached within the coming years because of some a bit short sighted managerial decisions.
That being said I still wonder who thought it could be a good idea to install Moyes as Manager aof one of the biggest Football Clubs in the world.

I don't believe anyone else was asked.
Carlo Ancelotti has spoken about being offered the chance to replace Sir Alex Ferguson as Manchester United boss in 2013.
As the Reds great was coming to the end of his lengthy time in charge at Old Trafford, he set about securing his successor.
That included a Paris meal with the next Bayern Munich manager in the spring of that year with "really expensive" wine that Ancelotti very much appreciated.
It was not enough though for him to consider replacing Fergie.
“I had already spoken to Real Madrid,” he told the Times.
“For the experience, a manager has to go to Madrid. If it hadn’t been for that, I would have come, 100 per cent.”
The job eventually fell to Everton manager David Moyes, who lasted just ten months before being sacked and replaced by Louis van Gaal.

I wonder if he is really as deluded as he comes across in the media or if he just trying to shift the blame but knows full well that he is to blame.
Because he seems to have learnt nothing from his failures and is getting worse with each one.
I have non United supporting friends who have said this a lot. It is a load of rubbish. Do you really think if Sir Alex stayed another season he wouldn't have had us at least challenging for the league? His worst finish in the PL era has been 3rd and we only finished there 3 times in 20 years.
If he stayed on he would have made a few signings to make us compete. He didn't leave us in a bad state. A few players were aging but he had a lot of young players. Jones, Smalling, Rafael, Fabio, Hernandez, De Gea, Zaha, Cleverley, Welbeck. They were never bad players under Sir Alex and Zaha could have been coached the way Sir Alex wanted him to play.
Evra has shown he could have still performed for a good manager, he hadn't been that bad at Juve after he left. Carrick was class, so was Rooney and RVP. Rooney was top scorer the next season and scored that half volley from near the half way line so he wasn't a bad player. Nani, Valencia and Young were still good players also.
Mourinho, Ancellotti or other world class managers would not have got the team to finish 7th especially after winning the league at a canter. The excuse that we had a bad team is rubbish, it is just a way to deflect the blame from Moyes and for our bad few years since Sir Alex left. Moyes only signed Fellaini in the summer and didn't strenghten the team. He also only bought Mata as a panic buy.
Correct. Of course we needed strengthening but Moyes' indecision that year compounded problems for years to come. If you go on the principle that a team requires around 3 signings a year to keep fresh and competitive and also believe Fellaini wasn't one of them; instantly you can see how difficult it is to recover from a Summer like that. Suddenly you go into the next campaign needing half a team, which means you end up buying who's available rather than the right player.
You look at how Mourinho has gone about things and it's the polar opposite. Not being naively used by Ronaldo, Fabregas or Bale. A clear list per position whereby if target A is unavailable or poor value, we move onto target B. Moyes would still be trying to convince Griezmann to come this morning, whilst Lukaku signed for Chelsea and we'd have panic bought Llorente in the final minutes of the window.
I'm sure someone on here posted a series of Moyes statements from August to after Xmas whilst he was here. August was full of optimism... We were the Champions, we had a great team, morale was sky high, expectations were as strong as ever. Every month of poor results that opinion got repeatedly revised until Sir Alex would have struggled with this team and he needed half a dozen world class players to compete.
I'd have no issue with what he says if after 3 weeks with the team in August he stated we needed 5 new players and £250m spent. I may not have agreed but when he failed he could have had a leg to stand on, as Mourinho has done these last two Summers ,"I need 4 players and want them early". It's the constant revising of expectations dependant on his poor performances that irks me. Expectations are what they are - if the expectations are too high - don't take the job. Taking the job and then complaining about it is either stupid or revisionist.

To be fair, that gif is misleading, he was cheering like that when we took the lead. What a joke of an interview that was. It's the same, tired excuses over and over. Says he wants that winning feeling again.
