1-0 Holland at HT. The game was good in the first 20 minutes, than it has become shit.
That generation was not on the same level as Stoitchkov, Balakov, Kostadinov, Penev, Letchkov.

How's Bulgaria doing? They played very good last match.
They hit a post in the first half, then nothing. Holland not better though.
We've been pretty awful as usual away from home. One nice move that ended with a header hitting the post but otherwise nothing, our players don't have the ability to operate in tight spaces. A set piece our counter will be our best chance to score probably. Netherlands haven't been that great but they're killing us down the flanks
Crazy seeing Holland look so pedestrian. Always been a fave of mine since being a kid, they'd be who I'd root for every tournament and the players they've had in that 30 years are immense. Sad to see them get so poor despite still having a few genuine class albeit older players not far off retiring.
