Why do they care?
Why do they care?
Don't know why they've randomly picked City and not PSG... but yeah sounds like they're just having a strop about not having it their own way any more!
Thought this would happen to be honest.
The Spanish clubs, and their league, are all about financial fair play now that the oil clubs are hurting them. RM and Barca can no longer cherry-pick the best players and they're having to pay their own players huge amounts to keep them (Messi wouldn't be earning £400k a week if the Qatari and UAE royal families weren't around).
Now that the Spanish giants are on board, there's more chance of something being done IMO. RM and Barca are Champions League royalty and Uefa will want to keep them on-side.
Long term, however, I still reckon we'll end up with a breakaway Super League of the 'traditional' clubs.
They've already went hell bent trying to get UEFA after PSG. It's just City are on the same boat so it makes it look less personal calling a second club out on their state back power too.

didnt barca (or la liga) already submit a similar complaint against PSG?Don't know why they've randomly picked City and not PSG... but yeah sounds like they're just having a strop about not having it their own way any more!
It might be sour grapes from La Liga but something does need to be done. Saudi Princes with trillions of oil dollars can't be allowed to run riot.
City will come for Messi and this happens.
I do think it should be done, No club can compete vs a country. It has to happen and financial doping clubs need to be brought under check.
Being a United fan, I don't give a crap about city but why the feck are these spanish club so agitated. All they have been doing for years is buying players through corrupt money. Real.madrid's a** were saved in early 2000 by the government, barca have been doing some shady deals for many years. I am happy other clubs have now started to stand tall and refuse to let them have the players they want.
More specifically than the Primera, it is Javier Tebas who has called for it - an unabashed RM supporter
Yeah but both have recently been handed transfer band for their transfer activities which stepped out of the line and usually when they bought big, they had to repay with their earned money.
Only a 100?I'd relegate City and give them a 100 point fine
Only a 100?![]()
Yes they received those ban, even Chelsea received and it was more to do with poaching young talents illegally.
My point is barca and real have been acting like babies because they couldn't get their toys. Perez refusing to sell us morata because they didn't get de gea was unprofessional. Morata is a gentleman who didn't make fuss of it , any other player could have just torn apart real and perez with that kind of behaviour. Barca is same, all these years rhey have been tapping players but now suddenly when one of their players is tapped they feel threatened.
Like I said I am no city or psg lover , and ffp should be made stronger but I can't blindly back these spanish clubs when all these years they have done some shady deals and just because now they could dominate the transfer market they are crying. Feck them I say.
