Cristiano Ronaldo - performances 2017/18

Honestly, it's always been a crying shame to never see these two in the same team. Could you imagine? Messi offers things Ronaldo never will, and is the creative outlet which would have allowed Ronaldo to have excelled to a level beyond what he is. They are very similar in mindset though, so it probably wouldn't be easy to stop them hogging the ball and playing selfishly.

Niceties aside, these two wouldn't pass the ball to eachother if their lives depended on it.

Move it along to the Messi and Ronaldo thread, that's what it's there for :wenger:

Which player would you go for now that Mbappe is at PSG?

I think the other options would be Lewandowski, Abuameyang and there's also people who would like someone Dolberg or Werner as a CF but in all honestly we could do even with someone like Chicharito or Mariano in order to don't depend entirely on Benzema the whole season. Ronaldo coming back should make things easier for whoever is play upfront though.

Can you take this boring shite to the Messi v Ronaldo thread?

Dont know if i should make a new thread about this

Interesting about returning to England bit. He's obviously very emotional in the deposition, cracked me up when he said he was thirsty and they offered him a coke and he instead asked for a sip from the female staff's water cup

Tells you something about how insanely dedicated he is to his diet when he won't even have one glass of coke or juice when he's all hot and thirsty.

Meanwhile Rooney is off on 10 hour drinking sessions during the international break.

I think he's past the diet stage and it's just normal that he'd never touch that stuff.

Why on earth are you discussing Messi in here, you crazy crazy bastards?

His Spanish has a veeery strong Portugese accent to it, which I love.

Anyway, can't really believe that they've released this video to be honest. Was it leaked?

Calling it now, he'll be the second highest scorer in the league after tonight

Just wondering if anyone in this thread can remember when Ronaldo was struggling at United? A specific game or time period?

Harry Kane man. Harry Kane

Romaldo will probably reach 1000 goals before he retires. He can keep going at this level for another 4-5 years at least.

Which would put him nowhere near 1000 goals.

It's pretty amazing. He's become the Gerd Müller of this era.

Wouldn't have called that all those years ago.

It's amazing how he has looked after himself despite being quite a big guy, he still has that burst of pace. He's a monster in front of goal.
