France is not qualified yet.
I don't think they need Kante that much to secure qualification, though.

Nigeria are through.
You never know. Belgium on the other hand...I don't think they need Kante that much to secure qualification, though.

Well beaten so it's out of their hands now. They never come last, as some would say.
Other CAF groups aren't conclusive. Hoping Cape Verde somehow squeezes through.
Injuries can happen anytimeDon't remind me. I'm raging because of this.![]()
Injuries can happen anytime
Even in training
Bad luck can follow a player anywhere. That's true and all but when you play a player in meaningless game on a terrible pitch then you hold responsibility for his injury. If he's injured in training it's a bad luck, but what happened to Fellaini could have easily been avoided.

International managers have so little time with their players, so he's probably already using this as preparation for the world cup.
Just Google "world cup runners up table".... there's a few including the UEFA one.

I've been looking at it a few times a day for the last few days .... complicated.
Spain, surely? They have an outstanding team. Most of the players who had that horrid world cup were on their twilight and are gone.
He is playing in a 2-man midfield.Xhaka is playing the Ramsey position for Switzerland?![]()
France should have won the Euros and didn't, don't know if that is a mentality thing with the team or the manager. It very well could stop them winning an even bigger trophy in the World Cup.Busquets is not as great as he have been. He can get bullied more easily these days. Ramos and Pique not as great as they have been in my view either.
I do feel you could hurt them and I don't think they have enough firepower to get back up top. I guess they could just keep the ball for most of the game and that might work again. Alba and Carvajal both very good with the ball, but not outstanding defensively.
I think most players in the side are quite overrated now particular the Barcelona players even if they are still quality. I love Iniesta, but he is not that great anymore. Koke and Saul are alright, but not very convincing for me. Don't feel they add that much more. Thiago has many good qualities, but they are mainly the same as the rest of the midfielders.
The players I feel can be outstanding these days for Spain are Isco and Morata. Apart from those 2 I am not convinced by the attack at all. Silva is quality I guess, but still have very similar qualities to Isco without the ability to beat his man. Asensio has lots of talent as well, but not at the very top yet.
Anyway even with flaws they are among the top 8 teams no doubt. Still I do think Belgium will do better. They just got more variability in the attack and different types of players.
Fellaini injured for us and Kante for Chelsea. Clubs must absolutely love international football.
But it might also be an opportunity to try out various formations with players going to the world cup under a ptessureless environment. If they needed this preparation they wouldn't have secured the qualification 2 games before the end of qualifiers already. Their team is already settled. This was an opportunity for him to try new players that don't play often and see what he can expect from them.
EUFA/FIFA have got to start saying "if your pitches aren't of an international quality", you're out.Did you see that shit pitch? No idea if that assisted with the injury but in this day there's no excuse for a pitch that beat up.
But it might also be an opportunity to try out various formations with players going to the world cup under a ptessureless environment.
But he might want to try out something.I don't think he tried a different formation today than what he's always using, did he ? It was their usual 4-3-3.
Bosnia is trying to secure the play off. They treated it a serious game. No pressure on Belgium players. Sure. Physical demand, mental preparation to fare against serious opponent, you must have. I meant it's like a professional fight doesn't need to win a street fight. However, he can't treat it as training as despite the quality gap between him and the amateur fighter, the amateur fighter can be dangerous as he has something to fight for.But it might also be an opportunity to try out various formations with players going to the world cup under a ptessureless environment.
