David Moyes | West Ham in talks with him for managerial job

He'll be back in the press this week talking about how unfairly he was treated at United and is still a top manager. Mark my words.

What type of power does Kenright still have at Everton given the new ownership? I could see him maybe being naive or sentimental enough to bring Moyes back in from the wilderness, but hopefully for the sake of Everton the new owner has some sense.

Koeman must be done though, whomever’s in charge.

Koeman getting the sack and then Moyes taking the club down to the Championship...talk about Karma.

Moyes being lumbered with an ageing Rooney. More sweet Karma.

If he gets the job and takes them down, he will quit as he clearly doesn't think he's a Championship manager.

Am I giving Everton too much credit to say there's no way they'd be this stupid?

Never underestimate the stupidity of football clubs at boardroom level. 4 years ago i hoped United would not be stupid enough to hire Moyes. Look how that turned out.

Fail at 3 clubs in a row yet still linked with a Premier League team.

Spread a rumour of Moyes coming back, and in return get your players & fans right back on board to help the current manager work his way out of this mess.

Genius work Everton board.

He's scored 4/7 of their premier league goals, the other 3 scored by Niasse. Without him, they'd be stuck to the bottom of the table.
Maybe if they were playing with 10 men. It's possible if they signed a decent striker instead of Rooney, that striker could have more than 4 goals.

They got him for free and they signed another striker in Sandro Ramirez who has sucked ass. With a bit more pace around him, you could argue Rooney could score more.

If they really rehire Moyes, they will get relegated imo (i said the same when Sunderland hired him). His time is over and just because it worked a decade ago doesn't make it sensible this time. They are already in a big hole of direness, a negative manager like Moyes will drag them completely down imo.

Bingo. If they weren't carrying Rooney's considerable weight they'd likely be a better side.

If he goes to Everton serves them right for taunting us when he was here. Fellaini has still not signed a contract so he might make a move for Fellaini on the last day of the transfer window and buy him for more than we paid Everton.
I feel sorry for Rooney though. It seems that he cannot get away from Moyes.

Shame he isn't at Sunderland anymore, since he wouldnt have done better for sure. It was so obvious that he was gonna get Sunderland relegated early in the season it wasnt much fun. Seeing him go down too League One would've been somewhat funny. Moyes vs Delusion is one of my favorite shows. It shows how much he ruins clubs. Go down without a fight and sign absolutuly nobody that will help Sunderland in the Championship and then run away like a coward and keep making sly digs to United that even Ferguson would've had it tough. Damn i despise this cnut.

People used to say that Moyes did a good job at Everton with the resources they had back then. So I was looking at the salary of Premier League managers to see if Moyes actually got super rich since he got sacked by us compared to his time at Everton, and so loses motivation to work hard or whatsoever. I was shocked to see SAF (3.6m) earned around the same with Moyes (3.2m) in 2010! Compare that to Wenger (6m new deal) back then. Just for comparison, today's top manager, Mourinho and Guardiola earn 15 m per year.

He should do a Benitez, go bring a big Championship side up and show his worth if he can.

Benitez is a top manager. Moyes is not. And never was. Actually I like to see and hear him spout all these nonsense as it is very entertaining.

Police Called As David Moyes Seen Loitering Outside Everton’s Training Ground

High-pitched and desperate cries of ‘Hiya Wayne’ were also heard coming from bushes adjacent to Everton’s training ground earlier that morning as the squad prepared for their League Cup tie against Chelsea but were dismissed as disturbing sounds made by the wind.

“He was so sad and grey looking, we felt bad moving him on but all it took in the end was a net and an officer dressed in a Fellaini wig to coax him out of the bushes,” confirmed the Scottish-whisperer.

Are West Ham absolutely insane? I mean holy shit, I read somewhere that they're doing this to avoid paying a compensation fee for a new manager.

Also he's bringing in Phil Neville in his staff too. If he does well, then what a redemption story this will be.

Only to the end of the season.

tbf, it might be a decent shout, he would certainly do a better job than Moyes.

Would be a terrible appointment if Giggs went there. He's not one of their players so the fans wouldn't give him much time before jumping on his back. He's got no previous success for fans to hope he could recreate. That's ultimately the issue with Giggs, he won't ever be given time at a club like West Ham.
