Think the young GK they have now is quite good. He cost them the last match, but he also had a lot of good involvement before that.
And maybe Basel felt they had to go to a higher gear than our players do, and once they got the goals in it just inspired them to continue? We do have a tough fixture in Chelsea soon, and are in a good position in the CL group. I think we might try to scrape by with a result here in order to save energy or potential injuries from a high-intensity game.

A lot of stuff can happen in a football game that have a effect on the outcome.

Uneducated guess that Basel, like any lower-league team, would get insane money from any adventure in the Champions League and could do with the money, so will have more incentives in place to get a result vs the teams they think they can do vs us playing for the long-game and conserving energy when possible for late in the season.
