Cool thanks. What about my sneaky edit above?
I don’t ever play mine on the tv even at home. In fact currently the dock is in the box in my loft.
I took down Ruta and most recently New Donky City whilst on the crapper.
Memories man, memories.
Both Zelda and Mario I do, because I much prefer dual joycon controls for those. But it doesn't really matter, that's the real genius of this thing.
That attachment sounds interesting. I have a pro controller for the Wii U which beats the shit out of the tablet. I'd probably want one for the Switch but I think it's something ridiculous like £60. If I could just use my DS4 that would be sweet. Or if I could make do with the standard controllers that come with it even better.Personally I just use the joycon controllers separate as they are. For Zelda, Mario, Splatoon I find them way above the pro controller, Mario Kart too. The only extras I've bothered with so far are another set of joycons (so we can play 4-player MK mainly, which surprisingly works extremely well even with those tiny controllers, in fact it adds a bit of extra skill) and a screen protector.
BTW you can buy a little attachment that lets you use a PS4/Xbone controller too, but I've not tried it myself. I'm happy with the joycons.
I still want one of these badboys but I feel like I shouldn't spend this amount of money on a console when I very rarely play video games, maybe a couple of hours every other week. So instead of throwing money after it I've done what any reasonable 27-year-old would do and stuck it on my wish list for Christmas. I'm secretly hoping I'd be gaming a bit more if I had the Switch since my girlfriend might find it interesting as well.
Why don't you sell one and the Wii u? Then buy a switch.
Sorry I meant why don't you sell the PS4 and Wii U.
Yes I was thinking she might like Mario Kart. Earlier I've had her try out The Last of Us but she was embarrassingly bad at controlling both the character and the aim/camera at the same time. So she ended up spending a few hours on Final Fantasy IX instead.I'm 28 and my GF'S (also 28) only gaming experiences have been farmville, candy crush, angry birds etc.
She absolutely LOVES the Switch - we play Mario Kart and Overcooked together, two amazing multiplayer games.
The best bit is, you csn play in the living room whilst she watches the soaps etc. Spending time together AND getting your gaming fix, the future.

It's complimented my PS4 very well, absolutely. I think a PS4/Xbox combo would be too same-y.
Nice one!Ended up splashing out on one 2 hours ago. What a fantastic piece of technology it is early doors
Zelda is absolutely beautiful.
I’ve gone from being underwhelmed to thinking mario might even rival botw for one of the all time greats.
Maybe not a "killer", but Octopath Traveller looks to be a mighty, classic JRPG.I've never really been into Nintendo before (never had one as a kid, grew up with a Playstation) but I'm seriously tempted to get this for Zelda and Mario. Does it have any other (upcoming) killer games so far? I like most stuff, but I have a soft spot of JRPG type games which have sadly more or less disappeared compared to the PS2 era.
Stupid question, but have you tried properly resetting the console? It's reall an easy thing to miss. Hold the power button down for a while until it actually shuts down, then wait a bit and turn it back on. I had an issue like this a while ago and that sorted it.

Yup! If the demo is anything to go by, it'll be special.I am beyond excited.

Skyrim? Really?Who else is getting Skyrim? Less then 2weeks to go
Played it on PS3, PS4 and PC, think I'll skip.Who else is getting Skyrim? Less then 2weeks to go
Same, and agree with all.Played it on PS3, PS4 and PC, think I'll skip.
I might have considered Oblivion as it's a better game IMO.
Been humming and hawing it for a while now, as I've not played it before, but I didn't much like Oblivion.Who else is getting Skyrim? Less then 2weeks to go
I was surprised there was so much in the demo. For sure. I was already so sucked into the storyline and was gutted when it ended.
To be honest I often take a day or two to really get into a game. So I was silly to post my initial reports
Any particular moments that turned you around?
To be fair Skyrim on the go sounds great.
But I bought about three different versions now. So I won't bother with it.
That looks brilliant, exactly what I was looking for. The music has that nostalgic quality of classic JRPGs.Maybe not a "killer", but Octopath Traveller looks to be a mighty, classic JRPG.
Zelda
Mario bundle. Anything else I need?
Have it on the Wii U.Zelda
I just bought one, you bastards.
