World Cup Qualifiers + Friendlies | November 2017

If Italy are as impotent in attack tonight as they were in the last game, Sweden stand a decent chance tonight. Wonder what tactic they will choose. Parking the bus, or trying to score? If they score 1, Italy will need 3 because of the away goals rule.

Sorry about the off-topic, how does your NT underachieves so much in qualifiers? You guys sure have enough players quality to fight for a second place on groups stage, IMHO. Norway has some very decent footballers.

We are bottlers, I guess. Sorry, I haven't really paid attention to Norwegian football for years. My football interest generally only concerns Man Utd these days. Very decent footballers you say, who are you thinking of?

Italy will be way too strong for us. GG and good luck in the WC, lads.

You both are such drama queens  Accept we must rely upon the veterans :wenger: Convert to Juve and their managerial approach to football, if you want entertainment go and see the circus
Your back 3+Bonucci is dragging us down, tbh

Ventura's insistence on refusing to play to our best players strenghts(Insigne on the bench!) is nothing short of insanity

Worst manager i've seen for the NT and i've the trainwrecks that were Sacchi and Trapattoni....

Yeah, he is a mad fecker.

No Insigne, not italian but hard to understand why a player like this is not used for the sake of 3-5-2.

Nerves are coming, but I still feel very confident that we will reach the world cup. Don't really fear Italy going forward very much. No Insigne again is also strange. Gabbiadini normally shit as well apart from against us in the league cup final ;). Might do good today though.

My prediction is 1-1 though!

I am glad. They didn't create much last game and the only change they have made pretty much is starting with Gabbiadini. Midfield changed with Veratti suspended as well, but doubt it will improve very much.

Well, we just need to be as lucky as you were to score, really.

I just don't see how you're going to score after the first leg. Problem is we won't score either

Cannot understand managers when they don't field the best players for the sake of a tactical system.

Club managers i can kind of understand. NT managers is beyond belief. Like you even have a chance to actually build a tactical system on a NT....

If he is only able to play in a 4-2-4 maybe someone should tell him Jorginho and Insigne play well in a 4-3-3, don't know, maybe he knows better than me I guess.
No, he just knows only one formation. He wants to show he can win with his methods.

Remembers me the fecker Antonio Oliveira for Portugal in 2002, he wanted to play Figo, Rui Costa, João Pinto, Conceição, Pauleta at the same time vs the USA, guess what happened?

We were losing 3:0 in 30 minutes.

He's a vertical manager who is too tightly bound to his ideas, except we don't have the players for it
