I was talking about both - and more - if you care to look back a few posts.
I'm referring to the several posts exclusively about stadiums. And my own post that was exclusively about stadiums. Like they give a feck who owns the concrete and plastic.

"Looking to expand" is not the same as actually doing it. And PSG don't even own the stadium - they are merely tenants.

In around 8 months from now Spurs new stadium will be hosting 27% more fans than PSG's stadium does, including the biggest single-tier stand in the UK. More importantly, the stadium will be state-of-the-art in every respect. And yes, I do think players and managers pay some attention to the home stadium that they'll be playing in ... not least because it will form a significant part of their lives whilst they are at the club concerned.

You are yet another poster who clearly hasn't done his homework before posting ... because Pochettino has several times cited the new stadium project as one reason why he loves being at Spurs. For example:

"I think it's amazing, beautiful, so difficult to find the words. I can say thank you to Daniel, because that dream is amazing."

"... I think it will be a dream come true"

"It is not only the facilities, it is how Daniel is driving that project. A few weeks ago, myself, Jesús and my staff were at the new stadium with Daniel and the architect, and you can feel that it is not just an empty structure – there is a soul and love; there is care in every single detail. That is what excites me the most.”

"I love to work and feel part of the project; to share and create something special. I feel very important at Tottenham, very comfortable and I enjoy the journey a lot. Today, I don’t think about a future elsewhere.”
Haha, "27% more fans". Surprised you didn't mention the NFL team as a factor as well.

Yeah, no, this still comes off as desperate. Of course he's going to be positive about it, he clearly likes it at Tottenham, and a new stadium is a good thing (most of the time). I just think you're just wildly overestimating how big of a factor it plays in keeping him there, as evident by you citing it. You also seem weirdly defensive about this particular point.

As for Parc des Princes, you clearly know nothing, but manage to come off as unbearably smug and arrogant. Yes, they are "tenants", but their current deal runs out through 2043, and it's a lease wherein PSG are expected (and allowed) to do renovation and construction as needed. And very few people currently in professional football are likely to still be active, at least in their current capacity (in the case of players), when the deal runs out, so I don't see why them leasing it would be a factor. And that is assuming the lease won't be extended, or that PSG won't manage to buy it. Maybe they'll even build a new stadium, one that holds 34% more fans than Spurs' one, and has 56% more state-of-the-art. What then?

Whens Wanyama back @balaks think you missed him more than anyone today. Dembele and Sissoko were passengers and thought Winks did well but Arsenal had surrendered the midfield by then.

Looks like Wanyama could be out for most of this season from what I hear. Massive blow for us.

Wanna buy Fellaini for 50m? He's like an Alonso-Iniesta-Zidane hybrid.

Anyway back to topic, feck spurs. Accumulator gone already after the first game

Beat Liverpool, lost to Arsenal/Chelsea/United. 3 points out of 12 possible.

Same, I had a Spurs win and was sure Arsenal would fold. Fecking Wenger.

With the terrible record at the top sides I think they are mentally screwed for these games, it's upto Poch to turn it around.

People get too knee jerky about them. Too quick to say theyve arrived and are among the elite and then too quick to say theyll collapse. Truth is they are a consistent and fairly predictable side. They are solid at the back, good and consistent at home for the most part, decently consistent in games they should win but tend to lose in big away games as they arent quite as good as the best teams. Surprise games happen to everyone once in a while like their win vs Madrid, but most of their results are pretty much "as expected". Poch has done well to build a solid and consistent side in a period where nobody has been consistent, but what he really should do is start prioritizing some of the cups to win a trophy actually. I get the feeling that he just trains for the next premier league game and for the other cup games just says do what we always do type thing.

Thought they were poor today. Neville said in commentary they were getting bullied which I agree with, and to get bullied by Arsenal is quite an achievement.

Still think they’re a very good side, don’t quite understand all the criticism aimed at them and Poch. Certainly think they’ll make top 4.

Out of curiosity what is our away record I'm the same period?
It's their record against the top 6 this season both home and away. 1 home loss, 2 away losses and 1 home win. United drew Liverpool, lost to Chelsea and beat Spurs, so 4 out of 9 possible points.

Dier is a more than adequate cover for Wanyama's role.

I Don't think he will be that much of a loss to Spurs in all honesty, not with Winks bursting through.

Problem is though with Toby out Dier drops back to CB, which left us yesterday with Eriksen, Dembele and Sissoko, none of which are a ball winner or very defensive minded. As soon as I seen that midfield I knew we would lose, if we had of Wanyama or Dier in there I don't think we would have been so over run.

That accompanied by Alli and Kane carrying injuries all equated to one of the worst performances I've seen in a couple of seasons TBH. Was not a happy bunny with Dean either but that's football.

Lost yet another big game yesterday. I do understand certain posters frustrations on the Caf as if United had lost two big games the place would be slagging the club off rotten. Anyway Spurs not 100% convincing for me this season. Were toothless at Old Trafford and were bullied by Arsenal of all teams yesterday. I fear for them if they fail to win anything this season as really do think the squad could break up in the summer. Rose is looking like another Walker situation and it isn't even Christmas yet.

Yet were only 3 points behind you having played Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and yourselves. I appreciate your concern but I think we will be ok .

How are they doing this season in the fixtures theyve played compared to the same last season? I ask because it is usually posted within minutes of the final whistle when they win but strangely couldn’t find it yesterday. Ta.

I think the concerns are valid? United have played Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool themselves let's not forget.

And yet the gap is only 3 points? The idea that in one transfer window we will see you team sold off is also a bit unrealistic. Rose will probably go but I thought let ever since his interview in The Sun, but to think that somehow in the season we move into our new stadium Levy would sanction the mass sale of players is a bit far fetched.

We are up by 1 point on last season.

I don't think you will hold on to all of your big guns if you're unsuccessful again. I can see these rumblings of discontent continuing. We both know it's not that far fetched. I'm not saying that they will ALL go but I think it's very realistic that someone like Dele/Eriksson will move on. Walker gone, stories about Dier in the background and Rose frozen out.. looks ominous.

I agree it is a bit far fetched, however all players want to win things and play on the best stages and it looks like Spurs will miss out again this season.

Kane seems a loyal person so i can't see him leaving for ourselves or City for example but couldn't blame him if Madrid were interested, and losing him would be a massive blow to spurs and would likely see a downturn, similarly with Poch, surely only a matter of time before an elite club becomes interested.

Essentially 4 points with the goal difference. Don't forget that. And Utd are the team that have supposedly been in crisis, with the manager taking abuse from all angles.

Who would be in for Dier now when it was only United after him and now you have Matic? If Liverpool can hold onto Coutinho we can hold onto Alli and Eriksen. I honestly don't know where this "rumours of discontent" are, Rose yeah and Dier would have fancied a move but it didn't happen and there wasn't a peep from him. In Poch's book he explains the situation and said the air was cleared. A few days ago Eriksen spoke about how happy he was.
