Yeah, definitely looked like praise to me. Few seconds more and he'd have brought the knife out to signal his intent to sign him up for City.
He's either naive or just a complete moron if he expects every premier league team to play the way he wants them to and go toe to toe. It's like a pub fight where one guy is your average pub-goer and the other is The Rock in a suit of armour. You can't then tell him to "get his fists up and fight like a man".

Pep Guardiola is still the intense competitor he was as a player. I do not know why people are surprised by it.

I wouldnt believe it but after watching Etoos very honest interview about Pep, Pep seems to have man management problem when he doesnt like/wanting to replace said players.

He needs to learn a bit about human interaction but I think it's tough to learn when it seems he's got an underlying mental health problem.
I think he is mentally unstable and isn't fit to manage a club for more than 3 years. Just look at Barcelona. He could've built a dynasty there but he left because he couldn't handle the pressure.
It hasn't though. The only thing that has changed in the last 2 games is that they missed more chances than in previous games. Last night they had 12 shots on target and 9 off target without having top creative players like Silva and Sane. Liverpool who scored 3 goals had 7 on target and United scored 4 goals with 6 shots on target. And they had 75 % possession to boot. Second half Soton had one or two attacks and scored.
It's a legitimate question whether their intensity is sustainable in the PL though. We can only guess now. They will rotate heavily for their game at Shaktar, both teams will be fresh for the Manchester derby.
If we manage to claw back the lead and win the title from here I'd seriously fear for Guardiola's health. Don't think the fragile mental state of his can take such brutal humiliation that too from Mourinho.

He wouldn't be a big success if he wasn't extremely passionate about his job. His passion helps him build great sidse playing fantastic football. Don't think it's comparable tbh. Jose is a cnut but some of Pep's movements are just downright odd. Random twitches and playing with his face, repeating questions, fake smiles, laughing and congratulating a player and literally screaming in his face a second after. His actions aren't normal, winner or not.
Otherwise we can exempt Jose for all the wrong he's done and simply say it's because he is 'passionate' and a 'winner'. It's bollocks. When someone is a cnut, they're a cnut.
