So, Do you guys think there is any link to Pep doping?
Yes. Both the peak Barca team and Spanish national team were doped to the tits IMO.

Yes, a professional athlete will just take "vitamins" from their doctor without asking what is in them....![]()
Everyone uses doping, it's not even forbidden. You just can't overdose your atheltes with enhacing drugs, their analysis must be inside the standard values. They just give them enough quantity to stay in the upper limit of the standard value.
You get positive if your analysis are above a pre-determined standard value, pretty much similar to a regular blood analysis. If they keep inside the legal limits, it's completely legal.Since when was using enhancing drugs legal? What?

If there was really something to it why aren't opponents making claims like this? I personally don't think there is enough evidence out to make that claim. Man City certainely aren't breaking records in distance covered.
Those three tests that City failed acc. to BBC were them missing out on informing the FA on this or that. They didn't find them to have tested positive.
Pep seems the type of guy who’d do anything for even the slightest advantage anywhere. Like I wouldn’t put it past him to tip off the maintenance worker to temporarily shut off the AC system in the away locker room etc etc.

Yeah ... and he clearly is the only guy in the PL to have that trait, right?
If this is true and there is enough evidence to make a compelling case, why aren't United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs doing something to stop it?
That's some "whereabouts" rule, coincidentally even Pep's Barca breached the same rule.

Yes I gathered that, but to say that based on that - despite having all the actual tests coming out negative - they use doping is a weak case to defend.
With the level of scrutiny in today's football I think it's almost impossible to take PED today. Maybe I'm naive, but the risk is just too big — will Man City owners risk hundreds of millions of pounds for a silverware that will be taken away after the whole affair got uncovered?
It wouldn't surprise me to think of such plot in the 60's (take Herrera's Inter and Barca, for example, with consistent rumour of "magic pills"), even in the 90's, but in the era of social media it would've been impossible to keep a thing like this quiet.
Won't be too disappointed if I'm to be proven wrong though2 additional CL titles will also be welcomed

I don't believe it myself, but I do find it odd how a team of midgets can run their tits off all season and avoid almost all minor injuries. In the rare scenario they do get injured they usually come back much earlier than expected. Maybe he just has a great medical/fitness staff, I really don't know.
The talk about them dominating possession therefore not getting tired is rubbish too. If anything the intensity they play with would be even more tiring, they're always closing down players, closing down passing avenues, running in behind the defence, creating overloads etc.
I said it against Spurs - They looked like they were on fast forward compared to Spurs players. I’ve never seen a PL side relentlessely close off space like they do from every angle. It could just be that the players and coaching really are that good but having watched De Bruyne in Germany he didn’t exactly strike me as a world class athlete.
It wouldn’t shock me in the least if something comes out.
The only thing that would make me think this could be true, are KDB's energy levels, especially vs Spurs. He seemed to not tire at all, which is unusual when watching KDB from previous seasons and even at the start of this season.
It's not about running the furthest. It's about recovering the quickest.
