Premier League Gameweek 19 - Dec 22nd and 23rd

Points dropped by Chelsea. Thank you Big Sam!

Morata shouldn't have got himself suspended.

Never heard a 0-0 draw at home cheered by Everton fans like that before.

They might be my least favourite fans in the league. it's as if they all tune into the same frequency of anger and indignation for 90 minutes.

Please tell me how the ref can blow for full time when the ball is out of play and the fans refuse to give the ball back.

Brilliant result for us, again. Please, please don't mess this up tonight, lads.
Big Sam has done us a cracking favour here, if we squander this chance to move further ahead of our rivals for 2nd place, we're the pits.

Never thought Everton would be able to hold out. Chelsea threw everything at them.

Will be interesting to see compared to last season, where we almost invariably slipped up when offered free points from our rivals.

I can see Burnley getting a draw at home against Spurs. Would be great to get that important win at Leicester and gain 2 more points on everyone beneath us.

Puts whistle in mouth and exhales. Pretty simple really.

I was hopeful. Bought an Everton defender into my FF team as soon as fat Sam took over. He likes his big scalps cos, you know, he's a world class manager. Like Moyes.

Premier League looks dead this season tbh, away from watching our matches and few other good matches, I haven't enjoyed it much, mainly because of City winning it that early.

I may have to follow you in that regard! I lost manager of the month by a whisker in our office fantasy footie and that was due to losing points from one of my shit defenders:D

Results could not have gone better so far.
Just hope we turn up this evening.....
We haven't been taking advantage of these situations for the longest time. I'd really love for us to step up this time. Very important to get a bit of a gap.

Glad we get some breathing room between us and Chelsea. Hopefully we can capitalize on it. Sad that I’ll be missing our game :(

Man City’s first win on this run was Bournemouth wasn’t it? Sterling last minute winner. They have come all the way back round to the reverse fixture today having won every single game in between. Pretty remarkable.

That’s an impressive stat.

Bournemouth just kick the ball out of bounds. They are afraid.

Please don't compare Big Sam to Moyes.

Fair play to Moyes for getting Arnautovic to be bothered

i see david silva is playing. Anyone know what were the "personal reasons"?

Sterling and Silva are so crucial to their play. Till they lose form i think they will be fine.

Seriously some of those older city fans watching Guardiola at work from the stands must fecking pinch themselves
