Premier League Gameweek 19 - Dec 22nd and 23rd

Sorry that's just nonsense. I don't believe you can't see the difference in quality.
Regardless of whatever City are doing, there is a point, that our lot have the potential to definitely better than what they are at the moment.

At least that was the general consensus by United fans at the start of the season

It's not nonsense, it's a part of the equation for sure. Look at Sterling. The guy was being ridiculed on basically every board about football I've ever read, people were sure Pep would kick him out of City and now the guy looks like a worldstar in the making. That's no coincidence.

What? That most certainly never happened. Sterling has always been a talent he's just matured so now provides more end product.

You'd think he'd turned Bebe into a world star from what you've written

How do people find City exciting to watch? I find their games really boring. Pass after pass after pass. I almost fell asleep watching that half. Give me counter attacking football any day. Even at Bayern they were very boring as well.
Did you miss the games against Napoli, Chelsea, Spurs etc?

It’s dofficult to counter attack if the opposition decide to not leave their half. City have actually been recasting when given the chance to counter all season.

Half way through the season and only match drawn, none lost.. boy this is some run. Did Bayern or Barca under Pep even match something like this?
Pep has never started a league campaign this well however his longest winning league runs were 16 for Barca, 17 now for City and 19 for Munich.

With City's next three matches being Newcastle, Palace and Watford they stand a very good chance of breaking the Munich run.

Not for his talent, i remember the Depay vs Sterling thread and most wanted Sterling. Sterling had proved his potential talent way before Pep joined and before he joined City even

We can see the difference in quality. Pep gets the team to play as a team.

Jose gets the team to play as a very tight defensive unit which makes us difficult to beat but gives away our attack since the only attack we have is to hoof and get the wingers to cross to Lukaku and hope for the best.

We have a good attacking group. We are just forced to play one way of football which is no fun.

When you look at Citys wingers/attackers compared to our options, it's really depressing isn't it.

Sterling, Sane, Jesus, De Bruyne, Bernardo, David Silva.

Martial, Rashford, Lingard, Mata, Mkhitaryan.

Read that and try not to weep. Negligible squad-building to be honest.
Don’t forget though that at various points in the last 12 months those City players have been described thus:

Sterling - useless, overpriced, can’t finish or run.

Sane - promising but no end product and unproven.

Jesus - prospect but unproven and can’t be that good as Barca, Madrid or United didn’t go balls deep for him.

KDB - Chelsea reject, over priced

Silva - old and legs have gone, shit hair.

Bernardo - (erm not seen anyone slate him to be fair).

United have a great forward line with pace and trickery but it doesn’t seem the team is set up to make the most of them.

And wasn't playing on a level even close to his current form. That's what I mean. Martial, Rashford and even Mkhitaryan, they all have proven their talent and ability in the past, yet we're not seeing much of it right now.

We sure have scored a lot with no attacking plan. Imagine if Jose coached us to do any attacking.

Just out of curiosity - why have you included Silva and KDB in this list but not Pogba?

Coaching is not the problem. You don't have many problems in general right now. You're doing just fine. The one thing I think is a problem to you guys is, that Jose's style isn't that well suited to young attacking players. It demands too much efficiency and perfection from them. That's the difference to Pep, I think. Guys like Sane, Sterling or Jesus just get more balls and opportunities. Not only allows this for them to score more, but they get more confidence by being around the ball a lot. Also, by devaluing or decreasing the importance of single opportunities, there's less pressure on the young guys. If Sane, Sterling and Jesus screw up, it's not that bad, they'll get another one. But if Lukaku has a bad game, you guys struggle heavily. If you had a guy like Drogba or Eto'o in his prime, you could challenge City, I think.

Yeh for sure, once we get Pochettino in the summer we'll be averaging 4 goals per game next season because we'll have a proper attacking coach. I think we can win 19/19 games and better City's record.

And yet we're on trend to finish with the type of goalscoring tally that SAFs teams had (yeah yeah numbers dont count its how you feel).

This place is getting ridiculous, far too many acting like jealous teenage girls.

Dele Alli fast becoming PLs most despicable player.

That was a dive, was falling before any contact was made. John Hartson does chat utter bollocks.

The only reason Oliver gave that pen was because he bottled giving the second yellow for diving and sending that cnut Alli off.
