Delle Alli awful challenges

Pretty sure he didnt mean it but the fact it was alli you can never be sure. He does have a thug attitude.

My main issue is that it was more dangerous than pogbas. We lose him for 3 games including city which has a direct result in the league being or not being wrapped up by xmas, whereas alli only gets a yellow.

He should be banned 3 games as well
The fact that it is Alli makes it almost a certainty that it was intentional. He's a dirty player.

Remember when he tried to hench Ashley Young and got repeatedly sat down.

Complete penis.

23rd December edition
This thug gets away with murder every game.

and because he got a yellow this tackle wont be referred to FA. Utterly ridiculous week in week out with this douche of a bag.

And then wins a penalty. Hate him.

I thought the ref was blowing to give him a second yellow and his marching orders.

To be fair in 2017 it's a penalty but it's incredibly soft. Defenders need to learn they aren't allowed to move a leg out anymore or it'll be dove over in a flash.

In almost all occasions BBC sport provide their opinion whether its a pen or not, in Spurs' and specially Alli's case, they suddenly play neutral party. Notice how they ignore to mention no touch on Alli either. Hypocrites!

From BBCSport:
You'll have to make your own judgement on the penalty - and the FA's panel might even end up doing the same. Kevin Long's foot was out in search of the ball, which he did not touch, and Dele Alli took a tumble. Only thing that matters for now is that the ref pointed to the spot.

Not disagreeing with the pen tbh, it is borderline for me. I'm saying he shouldn't have been on the pitch to win the pen.

He was reckless wasn't he? More good luck than anything he didn't cause a nasty injury.

He’s thriving on the fact that football is now a pussies sport - he’s not hard enough to be doing what he does but the modern game protects him

Now I'm LOLing at Giggs' defence of Alli's dive, he reckons he might escape retrospective ban because he falls "naturally".

Just seen the pen replay. Diving prick. Anyone have a gif of the bad challenge

Dislikeable player and he's been quite average this season. His tackles are horrendous and he took well advantage of that contact to earn Spurs a pen.

It's odd that when players stay on their feet, despite challenges, commentators are quick to point out 'oh if he went down there, he would've earned a penalty' but when they actually go down they criticise the player for making a meal out of it.

Stonewall penalty, and the tackle was not a red. Ref was spot on.

If he was reffed properly, instead of as the golden boy of England then he would miss half the season from suspension.

I didn’t think the challenge was that bad; dived for the penalty though.

Lol have you seen the number of hard challenges that opposing teams do on him? Get real.

So apparently Alli's bad challenges are not bad challenges because he gets roughed up a bit. It didn't cross your head that he gets hard challenged because he's easily riled up and also a massive cnut on the pitch.

Alli does hard challenges as some sort of ritual in the game to get himself going, and if he has a shite game he goes even further and starts flinging himself at people.

He's starting to develop into as big a cnut as Diego Costa; he doesn't get physical because that's his tactical instruction he just wants to hurt people because it gets him hyped up.

Now that Costa is gone from this league, hard to think of a more punchable guy than Alli. And he gets away with murder because he's with Tottenham and is a protected species in England.

How does that excuse him making horrible challenges all the time and getting away with most of them? Opposing players go hard on him because he's a cnut and easily wound up which sometimes effects his performances and he loses focus.

Also the challenge on De Bruyne last week was disgraceful and he should've received a ban for it.

I think he cleans him out with the tackle but the ball is kinda there & it's early in the game so Oliver keeps him on.

I must say the pen does look like a pen, although I'm sure he couldn't wait to hit the floor. Having not shown the red card, Oliver should make a mistake on that to keep it fair, for me.

(obviously that isn't right as such, but y'know, there's 2 teams on the field, they should get even breaks, this hasn't happened here imo)

My point was that tons of players make rough tackles. Why the focus on Dele?

Bit of a witch hunt in here! It was a penalty, and the challenge although aggressive was yellow card for me. You can argue a red but he’s trying to block the ball IMO.

Not really a witch hunt, simply an acknowledgement of the clear bias.

Remember how Diego Costa used to get away with multiple yellow card offences every game? That's what Alli is becoming, people let him get away with it cos it's Alli.

Biggest thug around at the minute.
