This is a 21 year old kid you guys are talking about. Listen to yourselves.
Come fecking on, you're better than that, I believe that you're more than that, don't let me down.

Spot on.Just annoys me to see people going way over the top about this kid. Yes he probably should have been sent off last week but now it appears any hard tackle he goes in for people are up in arms demanding big band for usually very little.
To be fair, he has history. A lot of it.Just annoys me to see people going way over the top about this kid. Yes he probably should have been sent off last week but now it appears any hard tackle he goes in for people are up in arms demanding big bans for usually very little.
Tbf the kid is an unlikeable little cnut and when people like that play badly it will be pointed out much quicker.Just annoys me to see people going way over the top about this kid. challenge
dive
As a soon to be 21 year old I'm also going to call Alli a petulant cnut with a punchable face. This is a 21 year old kid you guys are talking about. Listen to yourselves.
It was deservedly a yellow, not a red. And it was a rightfully given pen.
Anyone disagreeing is either blinded by bias or bitter that Spurs signed Alli for just £4m
I'm not sure what his age has to do with it?This is a 21 year old kid you guys are talking about. Listen to yourselves.
There was contact for the previous two bans they've given for diving. And the contact comes after he's thrown himself down. It's stonewall and an easy case. The tackle looked ok, maybe a yellow at worst. The penalty is a deliberate dive, but he makes connection and they are given all the time. Neither incident deserves censure.
Do you not think that, in his relatively fledgling career, he has quite a highlight reel of seriously nasty challenges? Yesterday's was pretty tame by his standards

Redcafe in Glaston's logic:
Suarez is a cnut because he dives and does nasty fouls.
Diego Costa is a cnut because he dives and does nasty fouls.
Dele Alli is a cnut because we're all bitter that Spurs bought him for £4m.
Prem League 2017-18 so far:
Pogba: 1 red card. Herrera - 4 yellow cards, Young: 4 yellows, Rojo: 4 yellows.
Alli: 0 red cards, 3 yellow cards.
Prem League 2016-17:
Fellaini: 1 red + 9 yellow cards, Herrera: 1 red + 5 yellow cards, Pogba: 7 yellow cards, Rojo: 5 yellows, Valencia 5 yellows.
Alli: 0 red cards, 4 yellow cards
Some opposition fans don't like him because he's aggressive and gets in the faces of opposition players. But a dirty player ? Nah.
He's a combative, highly competitive player, which is all part of what makes him good. And he gets fouled far more than he gives out.

I dislike Dele Ali but I'd take him at United in a split second.
He's a filthy snide but at least he does have talent to go along with it. He's not like Jack Wilshire where he's just a filthy cnut with no talent
Can't stand this sort of hypocrisy in football. Tolerating cheating and vile behaviour just because a player is good makes a person look bad.I dislike Dele Ali but I'd take him at United in a split second.

Statistics over yellow and red cards? Are you kidding me? Does not make any sense - just like most of the other points. Alli has gotten away with violent tackles because the referees haven’t seen them, hence no statistics will reflect it, so your point has zero value.
Then you bring up a player like Ashley Young having a few yellow cards - what point are you trying to make? Getting yellow cards over time is not necessarily the same as being dirty. Could be pulling a shirt, shouting at the ref, professional fouls, who cares.
Tackling someone purposely on the ankle is violent and extremely dirty, let’s not try and fend away the discussion by bringing forward statistics without any value. Bringing up Ashley Young in a discussion with regards to Alli’s obvious problems with aggression, is like comparing a guy with a parking ticket and someone who’s always driving around drunk without getting caught by the cops (yet).
Well I'd take Cantona back too, even if he kicked another Palace fan in the face. Because he was a great player capable of creating legendary moments. Can't stand this sort of hypocrisy in football. Tolerating cheating and vile behaviour just because a player is good makes a person look bad.

I personally never rated Wilshire even then.It was a while ago but personally for me as far as actual technique and being able to manipulate a football we have seen a level from Wilshire which is a mile beyond anything we have seen from Delle Alli.

Yeah injuries probably played a part but he's no better today than I ever expected him to be
What a sad, sad agenda. Utterly childlish - and we’re on a Man Utd-forum where you should behave like the guest that you are. Nobody cares about what you paid for Alli, he isn’t even good enough for Tottenham this season. Everyone wants Kane, he is obviously a great player and a good guy - Alli is an average midfielder and a vile, arrogant and violent player - and you try and defend him (big surprise) by bringing up his price.
You bring up Mkhitaryan - forgetting that is takes one second to bring dross like Sissoko into the equation. Your comment makes no sense, but what makes sense is that Mkhitaryan won two trophies last season - and he was the best player in the Europa League.
Price and quality does not always warrant success, as well all know. Buying cheap does not bring automatic success either, as you might know, seeing Tottenham winning absolutely nothing the last ten years. We get it man, you hate Manchester United and you are desperate to talk the club down, call for a huge demise and the stadium being burnt down to the ground - so it must feel incredibly bad that United won more trophies in one «ok» year than you have done since 2000.
Enjoy 5th place over the holidays.
Lol ... an average player who recently put Real Madrid to the sword.
what with talk of stadiums being burnt to the ground![]()
Convenient for your argument, but also untrue. Take his tackle yesterday, for example. The ref deemed it worthy of a yellow and not a red ... and most observers agree, including ex-refs who've seen the replay from multiple angles.
It simply wasn't that bad a tackle ... and the opposing player went in pretty hard too. But that doesn't suit your agenda so you dismiss it.
If you want to talk about dirty, nasty players then try talking about Fellaini.
