Did anyone listen to today’s Football Weekly podcast? They suggested the Peter Crouch to Chelsea thing as a joke, if they couldn’t get Carroll, on the basis that he’s a homegrown target man.

Carroll and Crouch are pretty big smokescreens to be fair.
