Premier League Gameweek 26 (3rd - 5th February 2018)

Not complaining about the quality of the football, complaining about the outcome always being the same. It's no fun when you know how its going to end.

Again, still never heard this. Football is meant to entertain and win/lose they seem to do that

Their right back playing in left back scores a curled effort Messi would be proud of. I swear this is the jammiest team in history.
Jammy really?? It was a great strike

Kevin de Bruyne is just something else in this league. Where he might possibly lack in raw talent ( which is almost silly to say ), he makes up in terms of effort and movement.

Christ on a bike, that passage of play from City right now, it's something United can only dream of doing :(

I think that apart from his great movement and effort his natural talent is also exceptional. Phenomenal player.

KDB, when he misplaces a pass or doesn't put just the right weight on it - you're left feeling surprised

There’s at least one goal for Burnley in this game.

It's almost like this team - actually both teams - have a strategy they're trying to enact with the ball. So weird to see.

Working out from the by line, starting with Ederson and 9ne touch play up to the opposition box?

Gruelling to watch City play like that. Making it look easy. Mourinho needs an attacking coach.

Yeah. I agree. But this season, he has also been far more productive than players which are even more gifted than him in terms of physical attributes. He rides out challenges, he runs like a Duracell bunny, he is always available for the transition from defence to attack, which is all to his credit.

Aguero is a waste of space for Pep. Ruins almost all their attacks. Long may it continue!

It's the polar opposite of Lukaku, when he plays a pass that's the right weight or it finds a united player, now that's a surprise!

I sense in Aguerro that he is past his peak.

I'd agree. Still a formidable player.

The real sticking out like a sore thumb is Kompany. Just isn't a player suited to this slick passing from the back. He'll be off in the summer.

City fans such fecking small mentality, they keep singing about us.

They've spent their whole history in our shadow, so it's only natural they'd be like that once ahead.
Even if they know the whole premise of their success is murky state sponsorship.

What's with the outrage in here that pep hasn't brought a youth player to sit on the bench? Some people's priorities...

I wouldn't use that expression with anything city related at the moment.

He makes the wrong decision almost in every move. Makes the wrong pass, chooses the wrong moment to shoot, dribbles when he should pass. He is not suited tot he team and City would be 2/3 goals up if Jesus was playing. His pressing is also awful. If Jesus isn't back and City make the QFs they won't beat any of the big teams with him playing.

Take everything you can get, I guess.
