Premier League Gameweek 26 (3rd - 5th February 2018)

Just don't see how Spurs are going to win. Atleast if they can draw this would be great right now..

Kin' ell lads. This is Liverpool. Spurs could be 3 - 1 up by 55 minutes.

Oh so Kane gets a pass so far because he team mates are giving him little service? Interesting theory.

BTW, 20 goals for Salah and 21 for Kane by the beginning of Feb, incredible. Both can reach the numbers of Ronaldo or Suarez when both hit +30 goals in the league, but Salah and Kane can do it in one season! This can reset the standard of the league goal scorers for the upcoming years.

Ronaldo finished 07/08 with 44 goals, and Suarez in 13/14 with 31. They might beat Suarez but not Ronaldo.

Spurs have played admirably well imo, managed to keep the ball well, resisted pressure well but so far ultimately so far no use.

The standard has been altered, unless the league is collectively shit (when Leicester) or if your collective is extremely good a la City. Our collective is not great, hence Lukaku’s 20 goals (nedd 8 in 12 to get that) shouldn’t be regarded as a successful season. 30 is the new 20.

Liverpool, on their day, are quite good at stifling their opponents. Spurs look like us in midweek.

I agree tbf. Actually I'm disappointed a bit about Lukaku's record. I expected much more than 12 goals by the beginning of Feb especially after the way he started the season. Thought he'll be about 20-25 goals in all competitions by this time. He's having an overall decent season, not a great one obviously.

People talk about tactical flaws. Fair assessment but I think our biggest problem was that we had no fight in us, no fire in the belly. We had too many players who simply did not come to the party, too many players who were lazy on the day.

I agree with all of that (except the lazy part, think the players cared but just were overawed by the Spurs performance). It still doesn't change how impressive Spurs were that night and how they gave it their all.

Interesting to see how average Mane looks this season. When Pool are remotely dangerous, it seems to be with Salah every time.

Hahahahha what the feck ref, he did the tango to give the goal kick to liverpool
