I don't understand Jose's obsession with McTominay, hope I'm proven wrong but so far he only seems a Cleverley MK II.

I'll be surprised if Pogba is at United start of next season. Especially if he has a decent World Cup.

Lampard is really digging him to him. I'm not picking Paul Pogba to flipping well defend.

Pogba isn't good enough to get into that Manchester United team??? That is an utter joke. No other manager would have these issues.

Shaw. Pogba. Martial. Fellani. Mikithariyan. He treats his players awfully.

It is all about ONE man, and it isn't Paul Pogba.

Shaw would be a better RB than Darmian for sure.

Not sure if you're being serious here but just in case: Darmian is a natural right back who has been capped there dozens of times for Italy. Shaw has, to my knowledge, never played there. So I think it's safe to say your claim is a bit of a stretch.

    Pogba warm up
Just watched Pogba warming up with Darmian for a couple of minutes.

He misplaced around three passes, failed to execute a simple dragback and let the ball bounce off his foot when trying to control it.

    Maybe Mourinho is right.

Or maybe his heart just isn’t in it after being dropped tonight.

 Is that a journo? It really is crazy how much this is being over analyzed!!

Interesting if he thinks he could go to Real and stroll around. Surely every team wants their players to work hard.
What makes me sad if that happens and Paul went to real he might not feel that he is their only start and work hard. But lately he hasn't been that player who runs around and play with his heart, his last game vs Newcastle he seemed un happy and si careless.

We haven't played a CL knockout game since Moyes was the manager

What the feck, man. Mourinho loves Fellaini. He was bending over backwards to keep him here.

    New low for journalism

I'm not sure I would trust Herrera and Pogba together to be positionally aware enough for this kind of game either. At least Herrera can run around a lot, harras their players and stop them from playing.

Having said that, it's still Pogba. He should play in a match like this. Maybe he really doesn't feel 100%.
    He's not some God.
He deserves to be on the bench

Two Champions League and two Europa League titles. Risky line up but I'm sticking with Mourinho here.

Not true. He was harassing fellaini by going public with the news that he and the club wants the player to stay and it is only the player who is not signing the dotted line.

Surprised that our other central midfielder, Jesse Lingard, isn't starting in the MF3

To be fair Darmian offers full back cover for both sides, albeit to a questionable level. If we swapped Shaw in for Darmian and then Valencia had to come off injured we'd be looking at Smalling playing right back, which I can't imagine many of us would like to see.
We'd be looking at Young playing right back with Shaw left back.

This line-up is mental, why benching martial, lingard and rash? Want mou to park the bus?

He's not going to not play Pogba unless there is a reason. Whatever it is, i reckon we would probably come to the same decision.
