With Hyde and Duke J, they have a pretty good backfield already. Could this suggest they don’t plan on taking Barkley altogether? Perhaps could instead mean they are going QB at 1, and don’t think Barkley falls to 4.

Seems like a fair interpretation. They need to just draft the best QB and try to build around him, not mess around with an RB 1st overall.
Mo Wilkerson...Kenny Clark...Mike Daniels - must be one of the most dominant base 3 in NFL today. If Clay would play outside, then between him and Nick Perry, Packers would have a defence that is super bowl worthy. Just need one more top CB to finish the picture.
