Television Gotham - TV series

I know it’s Gotham, but how on earth is she in a comma from a bullet to the head, dead centre from a distance of about 3m? I was expecting her to somehow be brought back to life as again it’s Gotham but yeah, seems weird.

Been quite impressed with Crystal Reed, she has been good in that role and Lee is now a bit of a bad ass, be intresting to see who she becomes and how Barbara and Jim end up back together.

Not bad. But very cliched episode which seemed to be all over the place.

As for the spoiler, I wasn't surprised at all. Not sure why they don't just
kill her off

Probably one of those cases where she, I suppose is sort of a big actress for that show. No Jada Smith but kinda has a profile.

I do wonder if at some point they will time hop Gotham and maybe replace Bruce and Cat with older actors.

Can't see that happening, at least not any time soon. The main character has always been Gordon and replacing Bruce with Batman would take the limelight away from him. It'll also be quite harsh on the younger actors who have been very good throughout.

I watched Reeds last show (or one them - dont ask why) and she was killed off in that show, too. My gripe with leaving her in a coma is that no one ever fecking dies in the show!

True no one seems to stay dead in Gotham. Was that Teenwolf she was killed off in. Weirdly they brought her back later to play her ancestor in a flashback episode.

I kinda hope there is a death looming for Lee at some point, she is a weird character who I just have no idea who she is supposed to be. Guessing she was just an add on. It’s just we know how the story goes and what is supposed to happen but she seems to be a major stumbling block in Barbara and Jim getting back together. Which I also have no idea how they plan on accomplishing that.

By time hop I was considering the amount of seasons they are going to do. I’m quite happy for it to become like Neighbours, Emmerdale or Coranation street or something and span decades but I just can’t see that. Although Dave Mazouhz is looking more and more the part. It’s crazy looking at him now compared to the pilot.

Yeah, it was Teen Wolf.

In the comics, she's meant to be a close friend and the Doctor of Bruce. Don't know if the narrows is part of her comic book history.

That was smooth as feck Bruce
He must have learnt some new tricks in his bad boy phase. I hope they aren’t going to do a Bruce and Selina losing virginity storyline and bring this in to some sort of teeny soap. Maybe Alfred has taken Bruce to some high end “massage” parlour, seems like it is something he’d do as part of his training.

Awesome episode again, any time Jerome is involved it’s stellar. Intresting twist with Barbara as well.

Caught up on this season - the last 3 episodes were really good. Last one was brilliant.

Thought they got rid of Sofia a bit too abruptly (would've been better if they killed her).

Riddler returning to his normal self, Scarecrow, Tetch & Jerome doing crazy shit together - Gotham is going to get even more insane!! Not to mention the remnants League of Shadows being lead by Barbara!

Jerome is one the best characters on tv.

The trailer for next week has some sort of who is The Joker thing running through it. If they somehow don’t have Jerome as the joker i’ll Be gutted as the dude playing him has nailed it and is fantastic.

I just wonder if this person he is looking for will be the future Joker, although, the face off, the smile, everything is there for Jerome to be The Joker.

Not sure how I feel about Jerome possibly not actually being the Joker. I can see a scenario where he drives his twin mad and he is killed only for the twin to become the joker.

I watched the Dark Knight last night again and only just realised that the guy who brought Jerome back to life in Gotham, is the guy who was in the parade with Ledger who Harvey Dent jumps in the van with captures and holds a gun to before Batman stops him.

That's a good shout if they go down that route as they'd get to keep the actor who's already widely recognised as a brilliant Joker.

Yeah they did kind of cover that the twin made up that stuff about Jerome setting him on fire and stuff so he obviously isn’t squeaky clean. Be intresting to see how it plays out and yeah they guy playing the joker is great. Anyone remember when he was a maniac in Malcom in the middle and his hands were taped up and stuff. Think he actually might have had a straight jacket.

Edit it was oven gloves and a sign that said don’t touch bites and on the back don’t ignore the sign.

Yeah I think they're setting it up for Jeremiah to become the Joker. As long as they keep the same actor I'm happy - the guy is brilliant in the role.

I also think Echo will be Harley

Decent shout

"She devoted her life to me"

Now that is one hell of a shout. Now you’ve mentioned it can completely see it. However think it would be intresting to see that storyline play out with how he seduces her, turns her mad and all that, I suppose it could still happen.

The only thing tho is on Arrow they have removed a scene that originally aired with her in it, but it has been taken out now. Apparently the shows need clearance for some of these big name characters. So for whatever reason she was pulled from the scene due to SS.
Saying that Gotham Just wouldn’t work if that was the case and they pretty much have most of the big guns there or have hinted at them all.

Just with Margot lined up for 3 big movies coming soon they might not push that character yet.

Was hoping to watch new episode of this tonight but showbox has last week's episode as this weeks too.

Yup. He's in The Flash, too - the magician guy. And, Ant Man.

Jerome is dead, long live the Joker!!

That episode felt a lot like Dark Knight, with a number of references to the film. Can't wait to see how Joker compares to Jerome.

Loved the ode to the Adam West batman show with that music. Rock version of course.

Quite like that he basically repeated what the fortune teller said about him, you’re a plague Upon this city and your impact will be felt through out its history or something. Then Jerome telling Jim he’ll be remembered and so on.

Yup, Jerome hanging off the pole was almost identical to the final Joker scene in DK. I did find it a little odd that Jerome's dialogue was similar to what Christian Bales says on his return from Nanda Parbat in Batman Begins about being an ideal/symbol for Gotham.

Cameron Monaghan is a fantastic actor. Has been killing these Joker roles.

Yeah, best acting performance in Gotham along with Michael Chiklis as Nathaniel Barnes.

That last scene where he’s talking on the roof. He is incredible.

Does anyone else find it weird that a lot of the cars you see in Gotham are like something out of the 70/80’s but then Bruce gets a modern 700 bhp Ford Mustang? I mean Jim and Harvs police car is like something from Rosanne or Golden Girls.

This episode kind of felt like half a season in 1. Decent ep and they rapidly progressed the story along.

Weird that Ra’s Al Ghul was like the ultimate wing man in Arrow telling Felicity this might be her last chance to bang Oliver so she does, and now he is cock blocking Bruce. Might already have plans for Bruce and Nyssa I guess. I wonder if she or Talia will show up this season or next if it’s renewed.

"poor timing"

Kind of glad they've kept Joker away this week.

So I saw some promotional photos and I’m thinking Harley Quinn will make her apeerance tonight in a more Harley like get up.

I never watch them, seen a few that show way too much.
Yeah I'm usually the same.

This episode looks to be quite Jeremiah/Joker centric which made it too tempting to not watch, heh.

@Schmiznurf @Welsh Wonder my bad totally forgot.

it’s not really clear if she is Harley Quinn, she doesn’t say or do anything, just his assistant echo with a get up where she could be Harley. I don’t think she actually is Harley and I’m not sure how I’m feeling about this Joker. Hopefully he’ll become more manic the further it goes. Seems to put together right now.

Yeah I'd agree with you there. I suppose they had to have him different to Jerome to start with otherwise it'd be a bit of a pointless story, they could have just done something else with proper Jerome.

Jerome was such a scene stealer it'd be a big loss to not have anyone like him again so hopefully Jeremiah will descend further into madness eventually.

Good episode. Liked the twist, the video tapes with the messages were a nice way to make the reveal.

I will miss the over-the-top craziness of Jerome, it was so much fun! Seems Joker will be more in control of his emotions & his 'sanity' than his brother. I do hope he embraces the insanity soon, it's not the same when he seems calm with everything.

I also hope they renew the show, hate for it to be cancelled as this season has been very good.

didn’t expect that at all. Pretty sure he was sent there by Raas, so technically that counts as two infractions of cock blocking by him. Bruce just trying to get a little something something Raas, let the boy have his fun
