No penalty. Real Madrid gets free pass. They do not deserve to go to the semis. I feel for Juve fans, they robbed them in broad daylight.
Are you talking for real ? Oliver was idiot when he didn't send off Hart, but all you said should mean feck all for a ref when he's applying the rules.
Couldn't agree more. I would have rather had it going to extra time than winning with a controversial decision. It's really disappointing to win with a penalty in the last second. The match needed the extra time.
Yes. It is a rule. Clear red for buffon. But you should get yellow for waving with arms on every decision and telling ref that he should book a player. Real players did that 20 times today. Did they get any yellow card for that?
Ironic thing about all that is the ball was pretty much going for Vazquez gut and not at a pace he could get any power on a diving header. I think he was looking to take a touch, by which point benatia could have got around or at least Buffon could have smothered it. Definitely more chance of Vazquez missing than ronaldo from a stonewall penalty.
The push may have been soft, but it's the reacharound with his leg, which doesn't make any contact with the ball, that makes it obvious. I won't argue with you about Vasquez going down easily though...at least from the push.fair question
I want it to be an Oliver cock-up.
It's a bit divey & I always go against that if I can.
Zidane headbutt on Materazzi not a red card either then?
What's this meant to show? Given the angle his foot could be a yard away
Yes, that is an amazing still. Gives a clear picture of depth. It also clearly shows benatia hitting lucas
Bizarre logic. You can't give pens against a team that's fought back from 3 down?? Really?? And you can't send someone off in their last season??
It's a bloody good job decent refs don't get into sentimental twaddle like that when making decisions.
And what the feck is spirit of the law?
In relation to consistency is why I bring it up. If he can apply the rules as he sees fit, which he clearly does, then it’s not unreasonable for him to make an allowance for Buffon considering the circumstances. IMO.
In regard to him applying the rules, why didn’t he give Ronny a yellow for each of his dives? As I said, it’s about consistency.
there is no reason for me to go ahead on this matter, we are out ... I think oliver is an utter twat and we all knew it before but, again, it is hot hair now. congrats to real and good luck in the semis.
Never a penalty.
And you really need a very good reason to give a penalty in the last seconds of such a game. And yes, time and place make a difference.
Silver lining is I still think you have a much better chance at beating scousers so there’s that. Don’t disappoint now. It's really disappointing to win with a penalty in the last second. The match needed the extra time.
I think it was clear, but it is not the same to award a penalty in the 30th minute, than in the 92nd.He had to be really really sure with his decision.
If I were on the other side I would be pissed
Time and place makes no difference, you don’t get to not give something because it ruins some sort of story
A push with two hands and jumping into him is though. That actually shouldn;t have been a red as the match officials never saw it and used the TV screen in the Ol
Sorry a collision is not a penalty.
Just asked a simple question, didn't say it was close or anything. They hit the post once. Anything else were shots from distance that never had a chance of going in. We really weren’t troubled.
They were in need of two more goals ffs. I really don’t see how anyone could call this close. We controlled them for about 160 minutes of the tie.
Never a penalty.

Didn't Sevilla hit the post and had 2 more good chances from what I saw?
No, it doesn't. The rules are the exact same in every single minute of a football match.Yes, it does.
Sorry, but you have to be a mindless robot to not understand the difference.
Yes, it does.

What sort of logic is that??
He's not above the game ffs

It is obvious that this referee is not good enough for such big occasions. Unfortunately, they had to send someone from England because that's how those things work. But there are no good referees from England. (As there are zero top managers from England ... sorry, that's the truth).
Yeah.Yes, it does.
Sorry, but you have to be a mindless robot to not understand the difference.
No and no.
No, i just said how olliver didn't had even criteria tonight. Are you asking me or telling me they didn't?
Either way, just because one rule is not enforced it doesn't mean none should be. Officiating in football does my head in so I'm not going to get annoyed when a decision is correct.
Sorry, to me it read as if you were implying they were somewhat close.Just asked a simple question, didn't say it was close or anything.
I saw a tv ref expert (USA channel) try and convince us that Mata goal disallowed with VAR was off side. You recall that one with the squiggly lines? On tv ref expert and one football pundit said- no penalty. But what they know?
Yes, it does.

Kicking someone under the shoulder from behind is not a collisionThat actually shouldn;t have been a red as the match officials never saw it and used the TV screen in the Ol

Why are all Bayern fans so nervous around here. They had one shot on goal in 90 minutes. While needing two goals. What the heck are you talking about.
What are you on about. You don’t get a free pass to foul someone just because the penalty might decide the game![]()
Just because the ref was an idiot in a certain situation, he should be an idiot in every situation later on to prove consistency, consistency in what ? being idiot ?
I never said that, I said he could of given Buffon a bit longer to calm down considering how emotionally charged everything was.
No and no to what?
Never a penalty.

This was nothing like Chelsea Barca though. Juve were lucky to have 10 on the pitch at the end, they committed 20 fouls in that game.
