Please

Liverpool vs Madrid please.

Madrid will get outplayed for most of the game; yet somehow win both legs.

Love that blatant omission.

Liverpool v Munich & Roma & Madrid.

Liverpool vs Real Madrid
Bayern Munich vs Roma

Obviously

I hope we get Bayern. It's a proper big club, but not as scary as Real would be.
Bare minimum I expect is to give anybody we'll face a proper fight, even if we end up losing.

I feel Real would fancy Bayern more than us - they are more persistent and predictable in their quality levels. With Liverpool (and Roma to some exxtent) you can't guess whether you'll get a team that dispatches City, or the one that loses to Swansea.

Honestly I don't really care. The stars are strongly aligning for Liverpool and I'm resigned to the fact that they're going to go all the way this year.

Obviously not. I'm much more confident with Real in the final than over two legs. The opposite with Bayern.
That's from your perspective. I don't want Liverpool near a CL so to be paired up with the back to back defending champions is the perfect draw on paper. That's all it it's. On paper. In the CL semi final anyone can beat anyone. The last two nights have proved that anything is possible. You guys have a very good chance of getting to the final.

Will they try to make Arsenal - Atletico as a possible finaly?

I mean for the Europe League it's a really big match despite Arsenals season.

CL:

Real - Roma
Liverpool - Bayern (Bayern is just not allowed to get Roma, imagine Besiktas, Sevilla, Roma for the final)

EL:

Lazio - Arsenal
Marseille - Atletico

The last time (1980-81) the four semi-finalists were from the big four (England, Germany, Italy, Spain), Liverpool beat Bayern in the Semi-finals and Real Madrid in the final...

you have to be a Liverpool fan to think Real would want Bayern over Liverpool. absolutely delusional.

Forget the last part - I didn't even think about the first part. That's pretty cool :D Beats 2/3 teams being from Spain.

All set up for a Real-Liverpool final assuming they don't meet before then.

I doubt Real will capitulate like they almost did today in the next round. Roma's probably got as far as they could.

And I just don't think Bayern are that good this season. Liverpool have their weaknesses, but their attack is scary.

A down year in terms of truly great clubs. Despite the English media doing their best to portray City as football's invincibles.

@Summit :lol:

I think Liverpool will get Roma and if they make it to the final, anything could happen in a one-off game.

I still can’t believe that Roma have ended up in the semifinal after all this talk about how this is the strongest CL lineup in a long time back in February.

I remember those talks. I thought that too, but the quality seems to have declined a bit(in terms of great teams) this season.

I swear it always happens before the world cup too.

I hope they get Roma. Would be nice for one of them to make the final rather than the usual suspects like Bayern v Real.

I think it'll be Liverpool v Bayern and Real v Roma with the big two in the final.

On this season's CL form alone, Liverpool are the strongest team left in the competition.

Since qualifying, with exception of their second half showing in Seville, they've been fantastic. Painful to admit, and I sincerely hope it comes to an end soon, but if they go on to win it, they've so far thoroughly deserved.

A lot can, and will, happen before we get to knowing the winner, but I'm thinking of sticking some £ on them. If they win it, the pain of seeing them lift the trophy will be lessened by my win, if they lose I'll consider it a worthwhile investment in my happiness/their tears.

Petty? Yes. Do I care? No.

liverpool vs roma
real vs bayern

As long as we can miss Madrid am pretty confident we cam get through and as 2005 proved anything is possible

I gotta say, this is pretty wide open right now.

No team should really fear any other team, everyone has shown holes in their game this season. I'd like to see:

Bayern - Roma
Madrid - Liverpool

As for the EL:

Lazio - Leipzig
AM - Arsenal

Liverpool will draw Roma - cue thousands of mouthy scousers claiming they’ve got the CL in the bag only for Roma to actually beat them and Liverpool to realise they’re cupless again and have only won 1 trophy in 12 years.

 Sounds about right.

Honestly, more important than who we draw is in what order we draw the games. The second leg MUST BE AT HOME. I'd rather face Real Madrid & have the second leg at Anfield than face Roma & have the second leg away.
