CL/EL Semi Finals Draw | Pool to face Bayern/Real in final

Hoping to to draw Madrid in this. Think we have a better chance over 2 legs than in a final provided we make it. Logic being that Real have so much more experience than us and will hold their nerve in a final.
I'd rather avoid Roma altogether and would prefer Bayern over them as I think our team is at it's best counter attacking which will be allowed to do Against Real and Bayern as they will definitely dominate the play and possession.

EL:
Arsenal (ENG)
Marseille (FRA)
Salzburg (AUT)
Atletico Madrid (ESP)

Arsenal v Atleti
Salzburg v Marseille

Hopefully Arsenal get Salzburg and get knocked out. They are fantastic.

Champions League:

Liverpool v Bayern Munich------- Roma v Real Madrid
-----------Bayern Munich v Real Madrid
------------------BAYERN MUNICH

Europa League:

Arsenal v Marseille-------RB Salzburg v Atletico Madrid
--------------Marseille v Atletico Madrid
---------------------MARSEILLE

Never underestimate the power of experience. That Liverpool team have won feck all in Europe and they just knocked out a team with not one CL winner in the squad. At a semi final stage experience is vital and that’s why so long as they don’t draw one another, we will have a real bayern final.

As Liverpool showed over and over again this season, they have a lot of problems in breaking teams with a defensive mindset, as it is Roma. Honestly, if they draw the italian side, I'd say Liverpool have the second chance.

As for tomorrow's draw, I hope for Liverpool-Real. That would be some game. Two offensive teams going at each other, even though Liverpool had, in two matches, only one half of really playing football against City. After that magical half first half, they just sat back and hit on counter. I would be curios to see Klopp's approach on this one. Anyway, we will see tomorrow.

I think experience is a little overstated tbh. Look at Juve's experience and look how that panned out for them. Destroyed 3-0 in their home leg then give away a ridiculous penalty in injury time when all they had to do was see out injury time. If you didn't know anything about football you wouldn't think they're an experienced squad who've been there and done it all before. Barcelona too, obviously.

Sometimes up and coming teams are just riding the crest of a wave and that's enough to carry them through. Like Monaco last season. There's always that one team who lack experience but their youthful, vibrant energy generally makes up for it.

Real Madrid always leave themselves wide open at the back. I think Liverpool could punish them on the break. At the same time Ronaldo and co would probably punish them defensively too. It'd be an exciting game for the neutral.

I feel like I did in 2014 when it seemed inevitable that they would win the League.

Fortunately I know what Liverpool are like. Disappointment awaits them in the cruelest way you can possibly imagine and I can’t wait to watch it.

I think my ideal draw would be:

Real vs Bayern
Roma vs Liverpool

Salzburg vs Arsenal
Marseille vs Atletico

I wanted Liverpool to draw Madrid but I think it would be better for us if they draw Bayern and then face Madrid in the finals (Madrid in the finals are GOAT)

Absolutely no way UEFA has the balls to do Bayern/Madrid do they? Feels like they want to save that for the final.

I hope it’s liverpool/Madrid for the semi finals if they won’t do Bayern/Madrid

They'll want Madrid in the final but is Bayern really a bigger draw than Liverpool considering Liverpool's popularity in Asia and Africa. I think this is what the line up will be:

Roma vs Madrid
Bayern vs Liverpool

Please god, no way Liverpool gets to the final. I'd rather not take that chance.

Hopefully Arsenal draw away from home in the first leg and against Atletico Madrid.

They will play on 27th April and and then they will play on 29th against us. It will be moved to 30th anyways.

Repeat of last season when we rested few players for that game.

Marseille vs Atletico Madrid
Salzburg vs Arsenal

Roma vs Real Madrid
Liverpool vs Bayern

I'm no expert on statistic and don't have the data with me, but I hazard a guess Bayern Vs Madrid in the final is a bigger attraction than Madrid vs Liverpool.

Sure, there are heaps of Liverpool supporters in Asia, but Bayern aren't chump either.

Fecking hell ANOTHER Liverpool fan on here?!

One gets banned and then we get another 7 join up.

Welcome, by the way.

Interesting view.

Obviously not. I'm much more confident with Real in the final than over two legs. The opposite with Bayern.

It should be the opposite. Real Madrid over the 2 legs is doable, specially with the way they're playing at home. Their finals record in the CL though is astonishing. They've been to the final 15 times and won 12. And have won 6 in a row.

Ye. I'm saying the same.

You want to reach the final by playing Besiktas, Sevilla and Roma. Even a CL group with these teams would be considered relatively easy.
I want someone to kick Real out. If we did it, all the better. But it never worked in the past years.

I want someone to kick Liverpool out. You are good enough to do it. Just have to up your work rate. Your average 110 km per game won't do against them. They will run 120 km.

I also kind of want a Bayern-Liverpool final. I see irreconcilable differences. ;)
