Whereas "The Emptihad" is zippy, zingy, witty, hilarious, succinct, and a superb put down. There is just no retort to it and it must annoy the crap out of them!

It's been like what, 2 weeks since they won the title? Apart from Social Media being spammed for a few hours about them being champions I haven't heard anything since about it. Just like their previous titles, very irrelevant to be fair.

I think the only thing this years title will be remembered for is that god awful cringe-fest of a video ''clap your hands'' :lol:
 
They havent officially been given the title proper though. I'm sure once they get presented with it, they'll be much more talk about it
 
Got to agree there, you really wouldn't know who were champions , the non league scene is more of a topic around these parts once the United topic is exhausted.Even the press have given them a wide berth.But best of all they must be spitting feathers when it looks like the Scoucers have one foot in the final after their 5-1 dicking.

Truth popped into the local Asda ( soon to be Sainsbury's) on the way to the game and counted at least 5 city scruffy trackless / shirt ,whilst City were on the box v West Ham.

Then a 'bitter' mate phones me ,'aren't you watching the game' ,

' nah it's all over we're in Ikea'

Yes of course if Man City don't run away with the league again next season it won't be because other teams improve or City find it almost impossible to replicate their very high standards this season.

No it will be because of a far reaching football conspiracy to deny them their rightful place at the pinnacle of the game. Lets also not forget only for Uefa they would have won about 3-4 champions leagues by now.

That's the problem when you win the league early, because things are still business as usual for everyone else. There are still headlines to be written elsewhere. That coupled with the apathy towards Manchester City from everyone but City fans, and it becomes all a bit anti-climactic.

You find that when Chelsea win the league too, people greet it with a shrug of the shoulders. Such is the shallowness of that club.

They'll get the attention though on the final day and for their parade. But even that'll make way for the FA Cup final build up.

This is in no way a dig at City or Chelsea, it's a fact. Between them they have maybe 80,000 fans in the UK, what's that as a percentage of the population?

World football is only just finding out that we have a local rival that isn't Liverpool.

He's a great player. But please don't make lazy comparisons with Kanté just because he's small, black and athletic. It's pathetic. It's the same with Naby Keïta by the way. Kante is more a facilitator while both Keïta and Fred can dribble entire midfields and feed through-balls consistently.
