Parties in power change constituency boundaries to suit them. It's Gerrymandering.
It wasn't, though the Tories insisted it was. But basically, UK constituencies are drawn independently so far less scope for gerrymandering here.

There's reason to think Labour has benefitted from the boundaries historically (as have the tories, but less). Cameron tried to give the better advantage to the Tories by cutting Parliament by 50 MPs but failed to get it through (despite parliament kind of agreeing to it). May's still trying to get it through but hasn't managed to yet.

That's one of the less extreme examples too. Both parties have got big majorities with less.

These are (to varying degrees) much poorer countries than anywhere in Europe.
Obviously no country is actually good at this but it's complete ignorance to pretend that Europe, and particularly the US (with its geographic isolation) has been extraordinarily kind to fleeing refugees. The US didn't even let in Jews in WW2, and generally the US has been open (early on for Europeans, post-war for Mexican cheap labour, and then for 3rd-world professionals) to fulfill a particular need.

Trump sounds like he may be ditching Rudy
Either Rudy is going to release a statement that he isn't working for Trump anymore later today, or he is going to release one saying he didn't officially start until yesterday, which means he wasn't officially on board when he made those comments to Hannity.
