I said I don't want him because I don't like him, not because I don't think he's one of the best ever to play the game. Maybe you should have read the following posts too...

If he could come back for a couple of years I’d love it.

He’s hungrier than ever, sharp as ever and he doesn’t actually have seem to have lost much pace. I’m sure he would love to have a couple of years here too.

If only it wouldn’t cost hundreds of millions.....

He played like a man possessed, I doubt he's celebrated a draw like that ever in his career. Simply magnificent, the composure on penalty and FK was unreal too.
 
From the minute Pique made the foul you knew it could be costly and Ronaldo made them pay. I was watching the game at a bar here in Cairo and when he scored the free kick everyone applauded. There are no more words to describe what this man is doing. You would think after 50 odd games at such a high level and coming off a CL win there would be hangover and some tiredness but no the motivation and energy is still the same. Still the same as it was 10 years ago. It's very beautiful to see.

There was no hangover believe me, the man was angry after the CL final. He probably was thinking about how to refocus the limelight on himself.
I have never seen a footballer who is mentally stronger than him.

tbh he was trash in the first half of the season and was sub par. had a conversation rate of like 1 in 40 shots lol. He came alive in 2018 though. definitely didn't have 50 games at a high level. Missing sitter after sitter first half of the season.

That was incredible, pretty much every thing he did was spot on. He looks so sharp, I'm looking forward to his next matches. This man's dedication is on another level.
 
Feck the comparisons with LeBron James. :lol: Ronaldo is on a stratosphere of his own.
 
All these GOAT posts for drawing against a team that was shite in its last two major tournaments :lol:. It was a great performance in a great match but come on fellas its just the beginning of the group games.
 
But, he’s too old, too slow and can only score tap ins.

Looked as sharp as ever. Should have had an assist in the first half as well from an amazing run (for an old guy) with a perfect flick, only for the other player to completely bottle it.
