Day 4: Costa Rica vs Serbia, Germany vs Mexico , Brazil vs Switzerland

I remember being linked with him before he moved to Porto, he looks seriously handy.
Pretty sure there should be a thread about him in the transfer forum. Probably from last world cup, he was also great there.

This world cup seems wide open. All the usual big contenders have ranged from poor to reasonable but with clear weaknesses. Interested to see Brazil next. It may be time for a 'dark horse' winner.

Fantastic defending, despite the pressure barely given any chances away

Chance there to get the English pundits to shut up about Sane... for a little bit anyway.

nah, it is group stage... if not meeting in r16, we will see the usual suspects at qf level imho and a couple dark horses going for the run among the giants

Surprised at only 3 minutes, there was Mexican guy down for about two minutes. All other games had 5 minutes.

I can't believe it was that long ago, had to Google him, he's 28? (I know I know, passed it etc) scary.

@Loublaze yeah I don't think Sane would have done much here but you just know there's going to be a massive thing about how much of a difference he'd have made.

I can't see Brazil disappointing tonight. Definitely open though.
