Game of absolutely two halves from Mexico....brilliant counter attacking following strong defensively to hold on. But when Vela's manmarking, you know you have a great team unit.

Mexico been the best all round team I've seen in World cup so far.

Me too but he seems to have lost his instinct a bit. Mexico had several opportunities on the counter and I just felt he was really wasteful.
 
Well done Mexico. Defended brilliantly. Bit better decision making up front and they could have had more.
 
When Germany’s Plan A is working, they are lethal. But, when it’s not, they often struggle a lot. They have no real plan B.
 
Didn't like Mexico's tactics in the second half. Germany were just so poor Mexico could have put a couple past them.
Mexico played in the 2nd half with 7 fecking defenders.

Good match this one. Mexico squandered so many good counter attacks. Germany while not scoring, I thought looked good going forward, while poor defensively. They should still go through I think.

Nah. That game Bayern outplayed them and Madrid were just clinical. Here Mexico's tactics destroyed you in the first half and they had their chances in the 2nd, before obviously then needing to park the bus to hold on. Deserved win this, despite late chances as a result of just throwing the kitchen sink.
 
This is already my favourite World Cup. Granted I’ve probably only followed about 3 of them
 
Incredible scenes. One of the games people will mention whenever WC 2018 is mentioned in the future. What an incredible WC it has been so far, and Brazil haven't even played yet!
