Day 5: Sweden vs South Korea, Belgium vs Panama and Tunisia vs England (19H00)

Need to get Rashford on for Sterling, he has been quite wasteful so far despite the runs

I thought VAR was supposed to stop incidents like the foul on Kane from going unpunished.

Pretty much just ran into walkers arm and fell... Walker just had his arms out as he was turning because the ball was clearly going past them. Was a nothing collision and basically the guy clotheslining himself. Awful call imo.
It was a clear pen. Why would Walker have his hands like that? Especially if Ball was going past them.

There's a reason why Pep spent so mu h on CB to play out from the back.
He even deems Stones not good enough to handle it, what was Southgate thinking?
A while ago I saw one of the Pep goofballs here list Stones as a player he had notably improved.

Think that was the 8th penalty so far in the tournament, must be on pace for a record for the first round.

Can't help but think VAR needs to either be 100‰ or nothing. This vagueness over when it will be applied and when it won't is just another lottery.

I thought VAR was supposed to stop incidents like the foul on Kane from going unpunished.
I was praising it earlier but I take it all back, if we have completely incompetent operators what’s the fecking point.

Lingard’s not gonna sleep well if this stays the same... The Sun probably have their headlines ready just in case, as they always do

Clever finish by Lingard, shame it didn't go in.

Looks like I'm cursing England finishing with my bets.

Put 20 quid on them to score in first 10 minutes, Sterling and Lingard miss sitters.

Nothing before the corner- England goall.

20 quid on England to score again before 30th minute, Henderson hits piledriver straight at the keeper.

30 quid on England to be leading at half time, Sterling hits the post when through.
