No one is saying he's been brillitant or even good today, but it's hard to shine when everyone around you keeps messing simple tasks or the most basic football skills.

I mean, except Di Maria and some runs from Mercado, would you save anyone from Argentina?

You can see glimpses of Messi's brilliance here and there, but there's no one else on the same wavelength

He created that entire chance with his dribbling. Now he's supplied a great pass. Come on man. His team hasn't been great. He hasn't been great either, but a lot of the team has been shite.
 
Seriously how on earth do you not start your striker in a game like this? Granted France are just strolling now, but Argentia look much better with Kun on.
 
Man, Lawro or Murphy, whoever it is (both sound exactly the same to me) is full of pure tripe. Lack of quality around Messi is the reason? Other Argentina players have got them the win and got them through the game. Be honest and admit that Messi didn't do enough instead of trying to hype him up.
