The Championship 2018/19 - Play-off final

He's been fantastic tonight.

Yeah really has, wasn't sure whether he'd be the same going back to Forest when he returned but he's been great. Goal should've woken West Brom up a bit but doesn't seem to have.

Just typical after Darren Moore's heroics with West Brom at the end of the season. They appoint him permanently and are about to lose first their 2 games in the championship.

1-1! Been coming the past 10 minutes. Forest really slowed down.

Great hit.

The co-commentator sounds so miserable about it.

How the hell is it not 2-1?

Tought start for both Sheffield United and WBA. The Baggies seem to lack a reliable goalscorer upfront, albeit Gayle should help them now.

Mawson, Fernandez, Amat and Bartley all gone (or will be by tonight). This leaves VDH as the one CB left at Swansea.

The amount of first team players who have left, and the lack of replacements is very worrying. On top of the players who’ve already gone it looks like J.Ayew and Clucas will both be gone today too.

Potter has his work cut out.

What? Swansea with just one CB left in the squad?

Only one senior CB, there is Rodon, a former academy lad full of talent, but he's only 20 and has only ever played a dozen competitive games and they all came in league 2 for Cheltenham last season.
Bony won't be fit this year. so the only striker is McBurnie.

It's going to be an interesting season.

Edit: +£43,960,000 this season and we haggle over 500k for Woods.

Your situation sounds desperate. Sad because Swansea used to be a good little Premier League club.

First win in the league for WBA thanks to a crazy 4-3 against Norwich. Stoke still struggling, instead. Only 1-1 against Brentford. Swansea, Middlesbrough, Aston Villa, Nottingham, Sheffield United and Rotherham all win. Blackburn-Millwall 0-0, Bolton-Bristol City 2-2 and Sheffield Wednesday-Hull City 1-1.
Meanwhile, Leeds up against Derby.

Leeds 4-1 up

They are looking very good in both games so far. Making mincemeat of derby and stoke.

Bielsa already running the show. His teams tend to start well though. I still remember when he was leading the table with Marseille just to collapse in the last 2 months.

Yeah I can’t help but feel like a 40+ game league season is just asking for disaster with Bielsa.

It’s nice to watch whilst it lasts though.

Not that these things mean anything but Rodon did well on his debut and made the EFL team of the week, only 20.

Some really awful decisions at boardroom level, and poor transfer activity over the last few years have all contributed to a poor situation. Still 2 wins out of 2 so onwards and upwards! Really happy with the football Potter is trying to implement. Been a good while since we tried playing a proper passing game.

Dunno how Birmingham aren't at least 1 up, Swansea have been absolute shite.

0-0 FT between Swansea and Birmingham. Swansea have started the season well, considering they have sold half of the team in the summer.

Yeah they've started the season playing well though but looked far away from that today.

They won't get one of the 2 first places, but can still get into they playoffs. They have to strengthen in january though.
