He should do. He's started the last two friendlies and scored yesterday against Torino at Anfield. He's looked like his usual self to me, ready to go.

Salah, Mane and Firmino should start on Sunday.

Replacing Salah with Mane would really help me shoehorn in a few more quality players, but it feels wrong not having Salah in the team.

Worth the 13.0 you think, compared to Mane?

Hard to say. He might not be as prolific as last season, but I don't think Mane will score any more than 15-20 in the league. Salah could easily reach 25-30 again.

They've both had the same time training/playing during pre-season as they came back on the same day.

I don't. Considered him right up until I saw his price. I think you can make up the amount he gets in a season if you get a couple of players who make up his numbers and more.

I like this, but will McCathy definitely start for Southampton? Didn't they sign Gunn from City is quite highly praised?

Just think Sanchez will have a big season and Rashford for 7m can stay in my team until he is eventually benched. Team is class anyway.

Is Hart good value? Shit keeper but will be Burnley's first choice - and they have a good defence.

I think so, the “Fantasy experts” panel on the FPL website said he is a top pick this season. I’ll put some trust in them and hope they are correct.

Alex McCarthy Locks Down Starting Role
Signing former Manchester City goalkeeper Angus Gunn this summer, Southampton brought in some major competition for Alex McCarthy. Adding to the question marks over the position will be how well Gunn has played during the pre-season while McCarthy struggled at times against stronger quality opponents.

However, when it finally comes down to it, McCarthy will step up and lock down his spot in the starting XI. Taking over the starting role midway through last season, McCarthy was one of the main reasons the Saints are in the Premier League this season. Standing on his head and making multiple breathtaking saves at the end of the campaign, McCarthy proved that he has the quality of a number one goalkeeper.

While Gunn will definitely keep the pressure on McCarthy to perform this season, look for McCarthy to come up big when it truly matters and lock down his spot inside the Southampton starting XI.

I haven't got him. Got a midfield of mane pogba De Brunye , so hopefully they'll cover his points. (Could change that for gw 1 considering some might not play) but that's the plan from GW2.

Ederson and Mendy will be quality too. TAA could score well. Shaw will be replaced soon enough. Rashford will score when in the team but will be out soon. Jorginho and Neves are good players not necassarily fantasy points but that’s the sacrifice.

I’m taking Shaw out now actually. I’ve got .5 left so maybe Coleman. I’ll keep Rashford and monitor it.
 
I think Kante might be a steal at 5 million. Jorginho will be our deepest midfielder and Kante will be much more "box to box" this season. Kante won't get crazy assists or goals but he'll play every minute of every game and will for sure improve his goals and assists from last year.

I think I've made 3 changes on average daily for the past 2 weeks.
Yes, no Salah. Still have 1.0 in the bank.
 
With Klopps team now boasting a better squad what's the likely hood that the front 3 will be rested/rotated a lot more now?

I'm tempted to start the season with Salah, Mane n Firmino. I have the chose of Aguero with Robertson or Firminho with another City Defender. Maybe Walker.
 
What do you guys think of my team. I’ve tinkered so much, the main one I am not 100% on is rashford. I think he will start the new season but not completely convinced. Also I keep swapping between Aguero and Aubameyang

So I'm looking for draft defenders to stick in my team as I have some poor ones who will not get me much. Is it worth me taking a punt on any of these guys that are available?

Kompany, Luiz, Shaw, Cedric, Daniels, Diop

The new Chelsea keeper and Kovacic will be available too. I'm not sure if they are worth it though? Maybe the keeper but in terms of a midfielder I would have to get rid of either Jota, Walcott or Sessignon.
 
Will Vardy be ready for gameweek 1? Also which is better Sanchez+Hughes or Eriksen+Townsend?

I like the prices of Arnautovic, Zaha and Wan Bissaka.
 
I think I'm going nuts. Ok I'm thinking this will suit me better. I've looked at City's opening 7 or so games and they could not have got an easier opener to the season. I smell tons of goals and think it would be better to get rid of Mane, Jota and Mendy at the expense of below. What do people think? Am I relying too much on their forwards who could potentially be rotated?

Always worried about rotation with City, especially their midfielders. Should be OK for the first week, maybe two but don't Mahrez and Sane play the same position on the right wing?

Had Salah but took him out for Aguero. I don't want to captain Salah everyweek, and if I dont there's no need for him in my team, especially with Mane on penalties). If I was a Liverpool fan I'd have Salah as set and forget captain though. Feel that front 2 is going be absolutely essential after GW1.

Aubamayang week 3.

Toby will come in for Bailey if he signs.

I'll play my bench boost week 1. Watford and Cardiff to have clean sheets and Sket starting.

Its not so bad! Not a big fan of two Liverpool defenders though
