Premier League Gameweek 2 fixtures (18th - 20th August 2018)

I honestly don't think you have been that dull under Mourinho. It's not free flowing football, but you scored what, six less goals than us last season? We know a Mourinho team can score a lot of goals at its best too, his Madrid team broke records in the league.
Madrid had peak Ronaldo ;)

One assist because he was playing deeper. He's already scored one this season because he's playing much higher.

I'd be very surprised if he scored or assisted a lot this season, he's really not very good on the ball. He's not awful, and he has other incredible assets, but he himself is very aware of his limitations. His passing range for a midfielder is very average, it isn't his strength at all.

They were good to watch regardless of Ronaldo that season. Mourinho teams playing rubbish football is an exaggerated point, his Inter Milan side were great to watch as well at times, surgical counter attacking football.

No way that’s a foul. Iwobi lost it the shbag

Forgot Ozil was on the pitch

Morata is hopeless. The man cannot trap and bring others into play for shit. He's a joke throwing himself on the ground easily
Didn't realize he is such a confidence player. Wonder if Chelsea fans are still trying to argue he has not been a flop. At least with the Bakayoko loan, they can stop arguing his case.

What can the defenders do when the line is held at the half line. Both teams are playing with suicidal high lines and pressing each other. Its going to be a toss up who wins this. Hopefully we can bring on Laca and Torreira to clinch it for us.
Probably more that Mustafi and Socratis are just not very mobile and slow hence they can’t cover the ground inbehind if some one breaks, there is no issue with playing a highline if you’re good in possession.

I can understand confidence or lack thereof in front of goal but you have got to absorb some contact, keep the ball and bring the others into play. That is the basis of a lone striker. Imagine going from Drogba/Costa to Morata having duels with CBs in the PL

Watching these two teams pass the ball out from the back again and again and again makes me wonder why we make it look so fecking difficult
