Fantasy Premier League 18/19

Jota, King, Davies all on the chopping block this week.

Richarlison and one other definitely coming in. I can see King biting me in the arse so might well ditch Davies for Luiz, Bailly or a Burnley defender.

Jorginho or Mikhi who I don't really rate. Eriksen and Mane are season keepers. Bernardo you just have to keep an eye on.

If Aguero is dropped tomorrow then I might well wildcard. Seems knee jerk but all the players I've got my eye on are doing well and my attack needs completely restructuring.
That’ll do!

Think I'm going to wildcard. Bit kneejerk but there looks like some must haves if they carry on and they'll be unaffordable without pouncing now.

From

Foster
Wan-B Shaw Robertson
Salah Eriksen BSilva Neves
Aguero Firmino Zaha

to

Foster
Wan-B Mendy Robertson
Salah Mane Richarlison BSilva (might change to Pogba)
Aguero Arni Zaha

I think that's a stronger team with 4 quality midfielders instead of 3 and a budget. Will be able to switch Mane to back to Eriksen if he goes off the boil but Liverpool look the better attacking side.

Played my WC.

Went from:

DDG
Mendy, Luiz, Doherty
Salah, Eriksen, Richarlison, Neves
Lacazette, Aguero, Zaha

Subs: Stekelenburg, Wan-Bissaka, Peltier, Stephens

To:

Ederson
Mendy, Shaw, Alonso
Salah, Mane, Bilva, Richarlison
Ings, Aubamayang, Zaha

Subs: Hamer, Bennett, Wan-Bissaka, Stephens

Thoughts?

Not having much lucky with my proposed transfers. Have not made any yet but had planned to use my two free transfers to upgrade Eriksen to De Bruyne who got hurt before I made the move, so was thinking of downgrading Firmino to Vardy who picks up a straight red and will miss the next three games.

Anybody else you want me to jinx?

Forced into Wilson & Richarlison in for Jota & King to beat the price changes tonight. I know King is come back and burn me but he had to go to free up the Richarlison funds.

I'll see what happens with regards to Aguero tomorrow and decide if a wildcard is needed but team looks in good shape for next week. Again though relying entirely on City and Liverpool to save this one.

Arsenals fixtures are pretty much opened now. Might be worth bringing in one or 2 of there's.

Yep which is why I'm looking at a wildcard if Aguero starts being messed about. Auba is the obvious swap in for him and I'd rather double up with a city defence or even try to get Sterling in.

Yeh I think I'm gonna use mine as well tbh. Aub could go on a naughty run of goals now. I'm tempted to put Mkhi in as well. He has that nut job Bellerin playing behind him so he should receive a lot of the ball from that side.

What do people think about tripling up on one team? I've never done it but now have Ederson, Mendy and Bilva.

Could swap one of those for Lloris, Moura or Trippier as I have no spurs players.

It's a good tactic when you believe the team will gain the most points, so Man City at the moment on paper have the best fixtures so you would say it's an appropriate tactic. Can also backfire though.

Don't want to knee jerk because I only just brought Eriksen in and he had a poor game but is his contribution to set pieces and corners diminishing?

The FB's are pretty attacking, who whip in a lot of balls. Trippier took the FK today and corners.

He was sitting pretty deep, but then again when they played at Newcastle he was on fire and unlucky. I think he might have to be a set and forget for a few weeks till I reap the rewards.

Yeah think I'll leave it. Can't see City conceding too much. Will drop Bilva when KDB Comes back and pep starts fecking around again.

Spurs also have some tough fixtures and tend to spread the points around, hence why I have none of their players.

I had Erikssen from the start. Unlucky in the first game but now might see his points potential go down with Trippier on set pieces and Kane on pens. Not sure where Erikssen will get his points from.

I'm triple City and Liverpool at the minute. Was my tactic from the start. City have far better fixtures than Spurs coming up and are simply the superior team. I wouldn't change personally until given good reason to do so.

Worst thing about this tactic is when they're both not playing on Saturday. My gw looks awful.

Eriksen isn’t taking corners/freekicks, really?

I think he took corners from one end and Trippier from another. I don't remember how many scorable FK's there were but the one where you would expect him to take it Trippier did instead. He sat a lot deeper today. I think I'm just annoyed.

I’ll stick with him for a few more weeks. Problem is, he faces United and Liverpool within the next 3 games.

Swapped Dave for Alonso before price changes and can't afford him, looks like I had the wrong Chelsea defender this season.

Desperately want some Chelsea attacking coverage. Any suggestions for GW3? I have 2 FT and .5 ITB.

Patricio (Norris)
Davies Mendy TAA (WB Bennet)
Salah B.Silva Mkhi Richarlison (Stephens)
Firmino Auba Zaha

One change I was contemplating was downgrading Davies to a 4.5 defender (Someone like Dummet) and rotating between WB, Bennet, and Dummet as the 3rd defender as per fixtures. And with the extra money upgrading Zaha to Morata. Thoughts?

Edit: Another option I was thinking was Davis to Dummet and Patricio to Ederson

I've totally lost it. Did three transfers last night before price moves, none of which moved anyway, and now I doubt whether I should have made any of them anyway. Worst start to a season ever.

What transfers?
