Premier League Gameweek 2 fixtures (18th - 20th August 2018)

It’s a shame not many City fans are there to see this performance today.. fecking tragic fan base.
It's not like it's a one off there are always empty seats. They can't always blame it on holiday time or the traffic. It is just that this is the sum total of their match going fans.

Who's the commentary team? Can't figure out the second guy.

Playing a narrow and deep defence against City?

Stellar plan mate, stellar. Good luck with that one, oh no, wait, you're 3-0 down after half an hour. Shock.

We allow teams settle and play, then we wonder why the smaller teams always seem to perform better against us. It's not rocket science. There isn't some spell that is making these teams more motivated to play better against us.
Yeah if you don’t give them chance to believe they won’t, it simple as that.

I started watching cricket after 2-0. Both goalkeeping errors.

But if they played that against United at OT, not a chance in hell we'd be 3-0 up after 30 minutes.

Cos our attacks aren't as good and we don't camp in opposition halves pushing them back

That's the reality of it

So many teams play to City's hands.
Exactly, it's infuriating.

The amount of teams that think they can sit back and soak up the onslaught is ridiculous. You need to press this City side, like Liverpool did last season, then they make mistakes. We saw just now with a bit of pressure how they can crack. It bewilders me why teams don't press them tighter

Noise at the Etihad is unbearable. Had to turn my sound down so I don't suffer from hearing loss after this game.

We are still the biggest scalp to take in the PL. Teams do still raise their games when we come to town. SAF complained about this many times. It shouldn't happen but sadly it still does. In Jose's first season we had keepers putting in there best ever performances against us.

I'm not sure I was even aware you can't be offside from a goal kick.... I've never seen a situation where that rule is relevant.

I reckon a 3-1-3-3 Biesla special would be the antidote to this City team.

Teams should at least try to. They’d rather try and keep the score down than go for it themselves.

Sky commentators like having the best time of their life, embarassing.

I’m genuinely honest if any neutral has bothered to watch this Man City game..? it was a foregone conclusion from the start & you knew Huddersfield would just sit in deep & essentially make it a non contest. Maybe I’m in the minority but I’d much ratheir watch two evenly matched teams like Cardiff v Newcastle yesterday
