The Trump Presidency | Biden Inaugurated

Rick Wilson said:
Trump has surrounded himself with Wall Street alumni “who have behaved with weapons-grade venality … and Master of the Dick affects. They were there … only for the tax bill. Nothing else ever mattered to any of them.”

The Trump administration has been “a hotbed of remarkably obvious pay-to-play and crony capitalist game-playing. How obvious? Think 1970s Times Square hooker on the corner obvious … The degree to which this president has monetized the presidency for the direct benefit of himself, his soft-jawed offspring, and his far-flung empire of bullshit makes the Teapot Dome scandal look like a warm-up act in the Corruption Olympics.”

...as he revokes security clearances because he didn't like what was said on a talk show...

Security clearance is still a privilege. Starting a phony investigation without any basis will be clear case of obfuscation and obstruction of justice

The reason he isn’t ‘ordering’ a concrete investigation into the Dems is because the whole thing will end up being a damp squib and he knows nothing of substance will be found.

This is a classic Trump diversion tactic to delegitimise an investigation into him which will likely yield some very damning verdicts. That and the possibility he’s preluding a justification to derail the investigation by possibly firing those involved.

Yup, it's a mere diversion tactic and the continuation of his application of the milgram experiment. Tweets are to feed the base and keep them charged up.

After the events today it's imperative that democrats/liberals/independents take some time out of their clicktivism and get off their ass to vote this November. They need to vote in numbers to give the Democrats the house and possibly a senate majority. The only way Trump will go out is politically. Waiting for Mueller to find something will be stupidity. People cannot merely sit and complain about the state of America or express their remorse about "how millions are suffering" and then be lazy asses on election day in November. Evangelicals comprise ~17% of the total American population and were around ~26% of the vote in the last election. We need that kind of enthusiasm to get out of this nightmare. People cannot complain about their agenda if they are giving less than 1/5th of the population so much power. Not voting or moronic "protest voting" is a dereliction of their duty.

we must be close to the Twitter meltdown??

imo Mueller and FBI are choreographing this brilliant. the jigsaw pieces are all falling into place.

I'd say Cohen was choreographed to go in yesterday at exact time as the Manafort verdict was being realised. Cohen has flipped now putting pressure on Manafort to flip. it's brilliant reality TV

The last news should be very worrying for him. Mueller is getting closer and closer to his inner circle.

Think the Stones or there management sent a similar cease and detest letter a couple of years ago, yet I noticed yesterday 'You can't always get what you want' was played after his speech.

What the feck is she wearing?

I suspect the ridiculous garment is meant to deflect attention from the even more ridiculous stream of verbal diarrhea erupting from her mouth?

Spokes person for the Trump presidency truly seems like a shite job though, so I'm elated a piece of human excrement got it.

I really think that woman has the toughest job in the world.

She just has to talk away one dumb mistake and childish outburst after another - and they are only getting ever more ridiculous and contradictory.
No wonder the Mooch only lasted 10 days.

Her job is easy as feck.

Lie, lie, and lie.
Read out party line.
Ignore questions she can't answer.
Attack the press.
Feign surprise/shock when necessary.

Rinse and repeat...

You could have argued that this weighs heavily on her wellbeing or conscience, but she's still there and she doesn't seem remorseful to me. I have no sympathy whatsoever, I think it doesn't affect her at all, and she's a nasty piece of work.

For a normal person with a shred of decency and morals it would be. Seeing as she's stayed in the job for as long as she has makes me think none of those qualities apply to her.

Don’t get distracted. It’s absolutely intentional, they want to provoke discussion on her appearance and then react with faux outrage to change the narrative.

Completely agree.

Get the impression he genuinely hasn't a clue what legality means; seems as if it is all about getting caught or not.

If he is impeached the markets would crash he says.

They probably would but that would likely happen with any president. More telling is that he is now even discussing the topic of impeachment. He must sense its possible.

I don't think they would. Even if Pence was somehow taken down too, the next in line would still back all the signature GOP stuff that Wall St loves. A more likely drop would come from losing the House.

The Nightbeast has no conscience.
