Fantasy Premier League 18/19

So are we keeping Miki or transferring out? Might do Miki > Pedro, who didn't start but scored. What do we think?

Had to take a transfer hit cause of injuries but still coming out with 54. Brought in holebas now for another injured low price defender. Now got to decide on holebas, pereyra or vietto to sub in for zaha. Would be games against us or city to decide from wouldn't it

I'm looking at this move too. He seems more in form, but there's not much to go off, and will form continue after the break?
I've not really seen them play, but someone on Reddit said he's the sole focal point of Fulham's attack, who are playing good attacking football at the moment.

They've got city next game. I'm waiting a week then making that change

Yeah, Watford have us, and Fulham have City, so it makes it less tempting to get in before price changes.
Then again, they do say form over fixtures (on Reddit).

Yeah you could be right. Suppose if wolves can score against city then mitro could bully his way into a goal. I'd have to lose 4 points now to get him in so still waiting a week

With £2m in the bank I am more inclined to swap Davies for Alonso instead of Shaw. I think I might actually go for a 5 man backline though and do Wan Bissaka and Davies for Alonso and Shaw.

I have no idea who to get for Bernardo Silva. £8m is my limit (I can get that by trading Tosun for Murray).

I'd keep Shaw over Davies but Alonso is a must have at the minute so either is an upgrade

Mulling over using the my triple captain on hazard against Cardiff. Any thoughts or tips on when best to use it

I believe in Moura and Mkhitarian in that pricerange fwiw. Both in very advanced positions with potential.

I'll keep him. Not sure why he was not playing yesterday? But he got on the end of a lot of chances when he's played, so that's my clue to keeping him for at least a gameweek more.

I have Davies and £2m in the bank. I don’t have Shaw, intended to do Davies for Shaw and get another £0.7m but think I prefer to spend £1m and get Alonso.

A double game-week later in the season is probably the safest bet

Best saved for a double game week unless you have a particular hunch.

Yeah sorry, read your earlier post wrong. Alonso for sure, can see Shaw eventually ending up back in Jose's bad books for some stupid reason.

It's crunch time on Holebas and Pereyra. Do I take a hit for one of them even though I can afford the rise?

Will price of the player go up during the international break? thinking of using my WC,have to decide in between weather use it now or hours before he deadline.

Didn't think about the double game weeks actually. Cheers guys
Part-timer. An experienced fantasy player always has an eye on the utopia on the horizon that is a dgw, clever chip combination planned, it cannot fail.. only for rotation/big hitters flopping meaning you only score 80 pts off your bench boost. Aguero as TC also doesn't pay off with just the solitary goal in 2 fixtures in the other dgw..

So its better to wait?

There will be a lot of people wildcarding, which I believe doesn't affect the prices.
But, there will also be a lot of people who have already wildcarded bringing in the current favourites.

If you're definitely wildcarding you should've done it at the weekend or yesterday and got the risers in, because it'll stay open til the next gw starts.

A few that went up overnight might rise again.

Anyone care to explain how the price rises/falls occur? I can see Zaha fell by 0.1 after 200k transfers out for example whereas Richarlison only fell by 0.1 despite net transfers out of 1,150,000. So how many transfers out would it have taken for him to fall by 0.2?

Also Mendy rose by 0.2 after net transfers in of 584k in gw3, why didn't Richarlison fall by more than 0.1?

Annoying that I don't know how this works.

Someone explained it here before. Something to do with their original value

You've basically just written the story of my life!! Add a Kane injury when you've planned it for 3 months and bingo!

Firstly players can only fall by 0.1m on one day and a maximum of 0.3m per week then they become price locks, same with risers.

I believe it's too do with the percentage owners vs net transfers and reaching a certain threshold. So basically higher owned players need a lot of transfers out/in to change price, whereas lower owned players do not need as many.

I imagine Richarlison and Zaha were equally owned, and both would have only need 200k transfers out to drop but everyone and their mothers was selling Richarlison 2 minutes after the red card!

How long before Adama Traore nails down a starting spot in that Wolves team? Can't be long surely. Looked dangerous in both the games he's come on. Could be a bargain at £5.5m. On my watchlist at the moment.

Not convinced he will. He’s a high risk player and probably best used as an impact off the bench, when defences are tired.

I guess. Seems a bit of waste though to me. Looks far more dangerous than both Costa and Jota. I guess he's less of a team 'player' than those 2 though. Never seen pace like it.

Well it depends who you wanted to get and how much money you have.

If you're using a wildcard moving early is the best option.

I got,

Schmeichel---Fabri
Mindy-David Luis-Wan Bissaka-Torkowski-Bailly
Salah-Neves-Jorginho-mane-Fred
Aguero-Mitrovic-Zaha
with 1m in bank,

Looking to bring in hazard/Robertson/hart/Kamara/Boly/Begovic/Jonny

Yeah just noted that, few had already gone up when compared it to yesterday.Waiting further wouldn't be a wise decision.

it seems ridiculous that a player can fall 0.1 after 100k transfers out but then not for the next 1.4 million transfers out, the intervals must be so irregular. I would have thought that there was more than one day with 100k+ transfers out.

I'm just bitter as I will have lost 0.1 when getting him back in.

Yes it is a bit annoying! Once they reach the threshold it doesn't really matter how many transfers are happening. But on the flip side, if they did multiple drops, Richarlison would have probably dropped to 6m!

Who are you taking out for Hazard? Salah or Mane presumably?

I've done Salah for now before Hazard went up and because I don't want to lose money on Mane (Salah's price is fairly stable) but I have to admit I'm not really comfortable with a Salahless team. He's such a consistently good captain option and Hazard has trolled me many times in the past. I don't fully trust him.
