Mourinho tells Paul Pogba he'll never captain Manchester United again

Where is Jose quoted that Pogba isnt going to be captain again. That article just a guess work at best. I cant believe believe people get worked up for failing to something like that. I doubt people in this thread even read that article. Just another ocassion to lashing out both Pogba and Jose.

BBC don't tend to publish things like this unless they are absolutely sure

Agree with a punishment for mouthing off to media for everything. But not sure whether this will help

Are there any quotes from the great man about this? It has always seemed to be a bit of a grey area.

SAF quote “Pogba signed for Juventus a long time ago as far as we’re aware,” Ferguson told MUTV. “It’s a bit disappointing because I don’t think he showed us any respect at all. To be honest, if they carry on that way, I’m quite happy that he’s away, from me, anyway.”

Apparently SAF would only talk to Raiola about Pogba's contract with Pogba present. When the contract offer from Utd came to be signed SAF said to Pogba “You don’t want to sign this contract?”. Pogba replied: “We’re not going to sign this contract under these conditions.” The response reportedly infuriated Ferguson, who turned to Raiola and said: “You’re a t***. What do you think he needs to earn?” Raiola responded: “Not that,” which led Ferguson to once again call the Dutch agent a t***.

And from SAFs autobiography “There are one or two football agents I simply do not like, and Mino Raiola, Paul Pogba’s agent is one of them. I distrusted him from the moment I met him. We had Paul under a three-year contract, and it had a one-year renewal option which we were eager to sign. Raiola suddenly appeared on the scene and our first meeting was a fiasco. He and I were like oil and water. From then our goose was cooked because Raiola had been able to integrate himself with Paul and his family and the player signed with Juventus.“

Pogba wanted more money, even though he wasn't yet a first team regular and he/Raiola held the club to ransom. Showed us no respect at all. Anyone who thinks Pogba cares about Utd is a fool.

If Paul really is being a troublemaker again and SAF was in charge would get rid of him, and I'm not the only one who thinks that.

All journos reported it even BBC. That exceeded being a rumor. Something was told to all journos from inside the club.

Christ, people are so in denial they'll even state that the BBC are making up stories. fecking hell get your heads out the sand and accept the reality of the situation

Totally deserved. Whoever is the manager and whatever the situation, no player is bigger than manager in Manchester United.

I don't trust Mourinho for a second but I do trust SAF. I'd be quite happy if we never sign another Raiola client ever again.

Oh the old credible sources crap.
Did you even read that article? Read the analyse section and its not any different than what us fans write and read millions times here, even some made more good point here. Just because its BBC people treat like it come from bible. Thats not even worthy to called an article.

I just don't get the BBC is the gospel that people have . They have printed loads of crap . This is just another story with no sources .
They are just the largest out there with the most to lose

Feck off, BBC reporting is a joke these days.

Just because you don't like the news doesn't mean they're not true.

Every journalist and his dog has reported it, not just BBC. Someone inside the club briefed the media about it.

They source their news articles, anything else is put in the gossip section. If you honestly think they make up stories then go and sue them, you'll make a fortune. Good luck

You're not a Brexiteer are you? Getting the old 'fake news' vibe from you here.

So BBC have never ever printed a false story ?
Not their general style of going about things. One can argue all journos are liars. But some are just less frequent than others. Hence BBC gets better reputation

we are still struggling despite pogba is out and we are playing derby not real madrid

Mourinho has feckin lost the plot.

He is now becoming an embarrassment, let's hope he never manages 5his club after this season.

Just because every media reported it doesnt mean they are true at all. It work both ways.

For what purposed it serve United to leaked it?
Put pressure on Jose, sure as hell. It just make him more fueled to lashing out everybody stand in his way and ultimately it paint negative things about United and finally only media wins because they guarantee news to sell for long while.
Put pressure on Pogba to shut his mouth off? He wont and wont be. Raiola would right up on his ear to stir up this thing for their advantage as always.

Knob head. Why bring politics in to it at all? Because you can't take an honest debate? Need to talk shite instead? You'll be playing the race card next.

When a story gets this much attention in multiple outlets, including the BBC, it's rarely false. Or in other words, it's more likely to be true than untrue.

Oh grow up.

(Also assume from that reaction I was right )

When every journalist reports exactly the same story. It means someone inside the club briefed them. We had been at this several times before, last time was Woodward briefing him vetoing Mourinho's targets.

Also, it's not something that we won't be sure of in no time. Next time Valencia is out and Smalling takes the band ahead of Paul, it'll be all clear. Why will we brief something that will be killed in no time on the pitch later on ?

Raiola makes more sense I think.

Although it would be quite funny if the club did it just to undermine the press when Jose captains Pogba on the weekend :)

Wouldn't they have mentioned Raiola name if he did ?

Well if he leaked it I'm sure he doesn't want his name all over it (it wouldn't be a leak then!). But it makes perfect sense if the aim is to get a transfer, which I think by this stage seems pretty clear. Pogba wants out.

Just to clarify, the Brexiters don't like "experts". It's the Trump fans who emit the "fake news" vibe... ;)

To be fair the BBC don't cite a source. Could be Raiola. But it's very vague on source origin. Either way, we're fooked. :D

Oh sure its served Woodward well with that plane isnt it? He made himself looks like a fool with that briefing.

Why we briefed something like this in first place at all unless someone made any gain from it and surely its not United.

I'm pretty sure the Brexiters use the same language as the Trumpers but I know what you mean.

He didn't know the plane would be made did he ? He briefed them on the belief of this making the fans side with him.
