Mourinho or Pogba?

If it was an either/or situation, who would you rather United keep?

Amazing how an employer giving an employee a cold shoulder one morning is mundane and perhaps fairly normal yet in football it's treated like the end of the world.

Mourinho is a short term manager. He doesn't plan on staying a long time at United anyways. Most of his signings are for the now and isn't really interested in the future. He is nothing like SAF. If it was between Pogba and SAF I would say good bye to the Frenchman. But Pogba is our best player and someone who this team should be built around and it should even have come to this with Mourinho. He should have been gone a while ago and shouldn't be in charge of the team anymore. The sooner Jose is gone the better...

I think everyone here wishes the football was better and in that sense Pogba has a point...however, how does he justify the performances like Liverpool at home when he practically caught the ball, losing the ball on saturday due to self indulgent extra touches on the ball? These examples have peppered his time at united and have absolutely nothing to do with the style of play. Plenty of great midfielders played in poor teams and still shone. Apart from 4 or 5 games he has been bang average. So in that respect Jose gets my vote. Pogba talks the talk but has yet to walk the walk.

They both have the club like a bloody circus, and the board needs to take control Immediately. Whatever action needs to be taken, it has to be done now.

First of all Pogba started all this. Jose backed him when he was out of form, Jose praised him this season after Leicester and few more times Jose said in public how they don't have any problems, etc...
Pogba on the other hand, last few months openly criticize Mourinho.

Ddg- Dalot, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw- Matic, Pogba, Fred- Alexis, Lukaku, Lingard. Plus Pereira, Martial, Rashford, Mctominay. Is that squad for only today?
Dalot, Bailly, Pogba, Lukaku, Fred, Lindelof, Bailly- all bought at age 25 or younger. So what do you mean exactly by "the most"?

I guess we are now in hate phase when we are making stuff up?

So he left the first time because of SAF not the club also?

It's as if life is contextual. Pogba didn't leave the first time because of any bust up with the club or saf. He left because although he was a young player he wanted to be more involved and juventus gave him that guarantee. It's that simple.

If you think Mourinho is thinking long term about United then you are only fooling yourself. Look at his track record. Yes, he's made a few good young signings, but then he also leaves a lot of young players out at the expense of other older players when they could develop more. BUt aside from all of that, he is doing a HORRIBLE job. We turned him down when SAF retired and it should have stayed that way. And everything that Pogba has said has been bang on. I applaud him the way he is standing up. He knows United and our brand of football. Jose obviously doesn't. It's time for him to go. If you think he's doing a good job and would rather keep him over Pogba then I don't know what else to say...

Where as Jose doesn't talk the talk or walk the walk.lol

Yes, i think that Jose thinks long term here. If it was not the case, he would not buy young(ish) defenders. He would not keep Shaw. He would buy proven midfielder, not Fred. And yes, i want him to stay.
But i want also Pogba here and i want attacking football so, to be honest i don't know what to think anymore.

Mourinho has talked loads of garbage on our players since he got here and even belittled the club, Pogba's current tactics towards his shite way of playing isn't the right way to go but trying to paint Mourinho as the good guy in this is laughable. I can see getting rid of both to stamp this out completely as Mourinho is the cause of most drama to begin with and has a long history of it, but if it's one or the other I am 100% behind Pogba, he only said what most us have been saying for 18 months and he has played well for us if not consistently so, under a better man manager with a more modern way of playing we can get the best out of him, Mourinho is like corrosive poison, we've gotten all we are going to out of him, there is zero benefit from keeping him around any longer, regardless of Pogba.

If the manager was worth backing, I'd be completely behind him. But he's not is he. To be honest I'd rather keep Pogba.

The style that comes with Mourinho does not suit United. Not to mention his antics where he always seems to have a problem with some player or other. Woodward also needs to go in my opinion as he is more interested and capable of signing tractor sponsors than he is players. There lies the problem, SAF was able to keep the ship afloat while the Glazers and Ed Woodward were hammering holes into its side to let themselves in. Now that they have been in for some years the rot is setting in. We need a Wood(ward) worm cure.

Both circus clowns can go.
it's the only solution, clear out all the clowns and drama queens and get the club back to being a football powerhouse, because at the moment nobody fears United.

I can't believe Pogba has so much support, the guy has been acting the maggot since he was dropped after the Spurs game last season(where he didn't try a bit). Remember him dragging Mourinho by the arm when he was being interviewed by the BBC after the Liverpool game. Mourinho smiled that day but was obviously furious, you can't go around acting this way. We've had months of his social media bullsh*t. The whole situation is disgraceful.

Wait what? Dragging Jose by the arm? You mean congratulating him? I guess no one has ever congratulated you.

I cant believe you are supporting the manager who sets our team not to attack Vs a player who wants us to play attacking football.

I can't believe that you support player who criticize his manager in public and at the same time is trying to go in other club( and don't be naive, he wants to go in Barca regardless who is manager here).
Imagine that every player does that? After the game openly criticize his manager about style, formation or team selection?

What the feck is the point of the poll when those two are the options given. It would actually have been interesting to see what the preference of the fans would have been but no, as usual the poll options are pointless. Just like constantly adding fecking eboue to every other poll. /rant.
Fun fact. When the poll was legit the 2nd option was Pogba. 80% chose Pogba. Don't know why a mod changed the names when people would still want to see the results

Is Pogba actually a big marketing star? People keep repeating it but I don't get what he's supposed to be big on except obviously his Instagram feed.

No idea where he wants to go, but he's certainly not helping the club and everything he is reported to say or do is creating a negative atmosphere around the club and undermining our manager. He's like the totally opposite of someone like Hererra, who's commitment and attitude is just stellar and beyond expectations really. I loved the idea of Pogba coming back, I love his silky skills and I'm truly excited to see what he could achieve, hopefully at United. He should try and shut his big mouth, put his head down and work for the team, if he doesn't and continues to defy and undermine Mourinho, then unfortunately he needs to leave. Player power can not win here, it's bullshit behaviour and should not be tolerated.

Is there not a thread on the training video? I want some of the cafs top notch lip readers to tell us each and every word

Say's a lot when Carragher puts out a more sensible argument than half our fan base. I despair

Apparently he is. There was a graphic that had Pogba and Martial as the two most popular players in China after Messi and Ronaldo. I can't verify it's accuracy of course. I do know Martial made a shoutout on his twitter to Chinese fans when he saw it

The best outcome or the outcome I'd be most happy with is that Pogba just knuckles down, does a complete media shut out, captains United by example and all is well. I have zero faith that is going to happen, but hoping for some kind of miracle.

Just thinking, big time players - Ibra for example come to this club and just ooze class, and leadership. Pogba has been so, so dissapointing. I hate to say it but we need someone like Keane or Ibra to pull him down a peg or three.
