I'm kind of just numb to it all now.
I had to nip upstairs 5 or so minutes into the game to check what the dog was doing, heard cheers and just knew it would be a Newc goal. It's getting bad how we're all just so used to it now.

Seriously..this looks like the players are doing it on purpose, there can be no other explanation.
Nah, it's just harder to perform in difficult situations. They're under massive pressure now (their own fault but still) and they're not good at dealing with it.

Pogba looks up for it though. His pride is hurt.

What the feck we expect from a team that has Ashley fecking Young as a captain, and had Pogba as the previous? Fecking shambolic set of personalities.

What’s wrong with Young’s personality? He’s a great bloke, great professional who clearly respects the club and has joined our away fans for matches in the past. I won’t hear a bad word against his character.

    Mourinho apologists - I'm listening.

If we lose this match, I'll paypal 100 quid to anyone who gives me a single argument why he shouldn't be sacked effective immediately.

And to anyone about to waste their time typing "there's no one better" - give me this squad and I can do better than 0-2 at Old Trafford at half time vs fecking Newcastle.
No apologist but if he goes any new manager brought in, well their first run of games will be Chelsea, Juventus, Everton,Bournemouth, Juventus, City, then Arsenal after young boys and Southampton and Crystal Palace. Nae an easy run.

Might as well let Jose take the pain of Juventus and Chelsea although if he comes in tomorrow and can work with some of the players straight away might be better.

Why do Jose never sees how shite Matic is playing, he is the main reason we are so bad.

I'd say the same about Lukkaku too. He made one strong run today and shrugged off several fouls. Only thing he has done in 2.5 matches.

Was utter rubbish vs Valencia and stopped moving. Should have been dropped as punishment, but Jose is willing to tolerate poor standards it seems

Players want him out. It’s a disgrace and if player power works it’s a slippery slope.

The crowd should sing Jose’s name as they come out for the second half.

I'm a big fan of Ashley Young quietly doing his best for the #joseout movement. While captain too!

I’d pay good fecking money to be a fly on a the wall in that dressing room right now.

I think it'll be pretty calm.
    There's no fight left.

I reckon it'll be, you have 45mins to save yourselves the backlash, as I (Jose) am out either way. Let's go out with some sort of fight.

What’s wrong with Young’s personality? He’s a great bloke, great professional who clearly respects the club and has joined our away fans for matches in the past. I won’t hear a bad word against his character.

He is a bad footballer. Wasn't good enough at 26 never mind now.

Never usually post during a game but I'm convinced the players are losing him this match on purpose. I've seen so many suspicious passes and touches that have convinced me were looking to set Newcastle up for counter attacks.

Both goals looked like the defenders just allowed them to get shots in.

It does look like they are throwing him under the bus. Let's see what happens after half time though.

I'm past that point now. I'm just numb to it. Not playing exciting football I was willing to forgive, but then the results started drying up and now we can't seem to string two passes together. We look like a bunch of amateurs who have just met each other, not a well remunerated top tier professional football team that spend every bloody day training together.

The only positive in this result (I don't think I'm being premature by calling this match now) is it makes the decision to pull the trigger easier for Woodward. To not do so at this point would be negligent.

I don't have any faith in Woodward honestly. If he's not going to go, he needs to be taken off football duties.
    Regardless of who's manager.

The only thing that will make the board react is the Glazers Out campaign.

Lukaku genuinely needs to leave. All talk, no walk.

I would've taken off Young. And move Bailly to RB. He showed he can play there for Villareal.
Young is one of his faves. Matic as well. Pretty sure those two were responsible for them scoring. The manager likes and picks them even though he has better options, yet the crowd is there supporting him. God almighty.

This is how we've been attacking for a while now. Impotent. It's the defense that's been awful even for our standards and it's all down to one ashley young of an idiot

We form a C around the opposition box and never, ever go through the middle. The one time we did was Pogba's shot which was probabaly our only half decent effort.

my guess is jose will be sacked on monday when the Stock Exchange opens and maybe that's for the best but honestly the players are a fecking disgrace. they say it's the sign of lunacy doing the same thing over and over and expect a different result but the players keep making the same mistakes over and over.

Not this stock market stuff again

Mourinho is absolutely bonkers, fair enough make the sub but why take off a proper defender and put back an inexperienced 20 year old kid who doesn’t know how to defend?

It's not even a one-off. He took off Lindelof and kept McT at CB last week. It makes zero sense. It's like he's trying to tell the board "look what you made me do" for not buying him a CB, whilst making examples of the CBs he identified and bought.

He doesn't look like he wants to salvage our games or the season. He just wants to make points and moan about how difficult he has it.

That was the most comedic half of football and refereeing I can ever remember. Totally ridiculous half of football.

Sub after 17 minutes? Why? How did McTominay for that ankle breaker and Pogba for booting the ball away escape a booking. Newcastle should have had a Pen? Not even a corner given, are the officials actually blind? Maybe Utd should have had one too, but haven't seen it clearly. Why is McTominay playing in defence, he looks totally out of his depth. Mourinho making a point about not signing who he wanted maybe?

I still think a draw at least is possible and Utd could quite easily win it.

The ref knew that keeping McTominay on the pitch was punishment enough.

What’s wrong with Young’s personality? He’s a great bloke, great professional who clearly respects the club and has joined our away fans for matches in the past. I won’t hear a bad word against his character.

So what ? I'd rather him being a twat and world class. He's bang average.

I haven't watched the game since I gave myself a promise never to Watch a United-game again until Mourinho has been fired, but from what I have read - I really feel for McTominay. The most inexperienced player on the pitch, after 20 minutes in a team in total disarray - he is moved down into CB in a new system. I wonder what Mourinho is thinking

I'd love to be one of those people who are utterly assured that all of this will stop once Mourinho goes. There are quite a few absolute cnuts in that dressing room and they'll need shifting before anything actually changes.

I think are quite a few that aren't good enough, but I'm not sure about there being many cnuts there. Who are you thinking of?

Players like Martial and Pogba are not the kind you want fighting for your club. Not good enough but sulking and downing tools when things don't go their way like they're the next coming of Maradona. I hope whoever comes in next has just as much trouble with this bunch. Then maybe some people will wake up to the utter shitshow that is our squad, ownership and upper management.
Of course you blame Martial and Pogba. They're clearly the reason for this bad result.

There's no magic solution but clearly keeping Jose just isn't an option anymore. It won't fix everything but it's necessary at this point.
