2018 US Elections

Just saw the blatant lie by McSally...she voted to protect those with pre-existing conditions.

Hope Sinnema called her out on it.

I thought Sinema was better than McSally who came a little unhinged at the end of that debate

It's quite incredible that the Dems get accused of identity politics.

Early Voting Is Unusually High

October 17, 2018 at 10:16 am EDT By Taegan Goddard 28 Comments

Elect Project is tracking early voting in the 2018 midterm elections.

Michael McDonald: “The levels of engagement are just bonkers in some some states. If this keeps up, we’ll have turnout higher than the 2016 presidential election. That can’t happen, can it? You’d think this has to level off at some point, but there are no signs yet.”

“Usually early voting increases as Election Day nears. Maybe there is a rush to vote right now among the most politically interested, and early voting levels will stagnate. Whatever is happening it is most unusual compared to recent midterm elections.”

Hopefully good news for Democrats.

First day of early voting in GA has apparently smashed the previous record. Good news for the Dems

turtle face and the other whoresons in the GOP are now blaming Social Security, Medicare , medicaid for the Deficit.

errrr not the tax cut....

ahhhh

ah well.
That was always the plan. The dumb f*cks don't care that it's going to tear society in 2, because they're arrogant or old enough to believe it'll never catch up to them.

And Trump just instructed each of his cabinet members to trim their budgets while completely ignoring how his tax cut has affected the deficit.

...these people have not read or understood history.

The fury and need for revenge of people.

The people they are using ..the racists will in time experience first hand the methods employed by their Fuhrer.

I don't understand how an empty vessel like Jessica Morse gets selected to fight our local congressional race. She's running against Tom McClintock, who is quite the twat, but at least he actually believes in what he says he does. This Morse woman just spews meaningless talking points. Why don't dems learn that they need firebrands and principled people to take this fight to the repubs.

Shallow pool of people out their hat into the ring?

There's a fundamental difference between Dems and Republicans here. When Garland was blockaded, everybody thought McConnell is killing the Republicans and there will be an outrage against this 'not doing their work' and will play into Dem hands. Democrats were to use this as a weapon during the polls. It's the same here, McConnell is again using this 'debt reduction' as a weapon to galvanize Republican voters, most who already think welfare programs are for the lazy and undeserving. Dems will weaponize this and that in turn will fire up the Republican voters. With voter disenfranchisement, R's will keep winning.

The real war is to get people to vote and make sure they are eligible. Spend your money there. Organize bus tours if you have to ffs but get people to vote. Kavanaugh, soundbites about cutting Medicare won't work.

One of TN TX and ND in addition to the Western states needs to come in. I think AZ and NV will come in.

I still feel Beto will spring a surprise.

It would take a ridiculous amount of turnout to save ND, as well as win TX and TN imo...since those are hard red states and it would take a lot of unexpected Dem enthusiasm to even keep things close. AZ and NV are completely in play imo.

The gop turtle man saying shit might help in states like TN for obvious reasons. I would have felt good with TX in current situation as I think independents might help him but Trump's bump near the election is a bit worrisome for Beto.
