Real Madrid bought that ref for sureThat (foul on Sancho) is why VAR needs an additional challenge system that managers can choose where they want to risk wasting a challenge. If the ref watches that on a tv screen and doesn’t find a foul and a yellow then he’s either a very rich and bought man or he’s out of a job for the rest of the tournament.

Might be the correct decision by the rule book, but no way that ref would have ruled it offside if Real had scored that
Ajax have no business competing with Real. Calls going against them are going to be killer.
At least a few decimetres. Most decent refs wouldn’t have allowed it from the beginning but with VAR they allow everything and check it afterwards. Anyway, we could all see it was correct in the end.
